"Northern lights included - The campsite is run by a Swiss couple, Max and Yasmine. Even the welcome is very warm. As we were there at the beginning of September, we were able to get a pitch right by the water. The site is very clean and there is nothing to complain about. And we were lucky enough to see the first Northern Lights right in front of us... You can cycle or drive to the Arctic Circle, an observation tower in Finland, a beautiful forest lake, the Jock Falls... A very beautiful region of Sweden and we will definitely be back.

"Unforgettable days - On our six-month trip in 2018, via the south of France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden and finally back to Switzerland, we also spent a few days at Norrsken Lodge. The warmth of the owners, Mäx and Yasmine, and the super beautiful location of the campsite were unforgettable. We will be back in March 2019.

"Great days at Norrsken Lodge Camping - First of all: the campsite is now called "Norrsken Lodge" and is run by a Swiss couple. We stopped at the Norrsken Lodge campsite on our way to Finland. We only intended to stay one night, but ended up staying four. The campsite is located on the outskirts of Overtorneå directly on a side channel of Torne Älv and offers all the amenities you need: Shower, WC, boat rental, playground, restaurant (highly recommended!), mini golf etc. Even the adjacent outdoor pool can be used free of charge. You can go on excursions by bike from the campsite (we went up the Aavasaksan mountain and enjoyed a beautiful panoramic view). The shopping facilities are within easy walking or cycling distance of the campsite. We really liked it at Norrsken Logde, which is why we stayed longer than planned. The very friendly owner couple gave us lots of information and tips about the surrounding area. We would recommend the campsite to others and will definitely be back again soon.
