"Nice campsite in a beautiful location - We stayed at this campsite for 17 nights in July 2019. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Hoeck from northern Germany. We had a very nice pitch surrounded by hedges and trees, we really liked the water point, which was right on the pitch and was set up as a sink. The allocated pitch was flat and generously sized. The access road is sufficiently dimensioned, but with long trailers or double axles it could be quite tight. It was also good that a couple of permanent campers were there immediately to help move the trailer into the right position. During our stay, there were also two sociable evenings with barbecues and campfires. The permanent campers and Mrs Hoeck took over the organization and made this a highlight of our vacation. At the end of the site there is a large meadow with goals for playing soccer. Various animals are kept on the site (alpacas, goats, ponies, peacocks and more) which was another reason for us to book this site. The children can help feed and stroke the animals, which was very nice. There is a play hut on site where you can spend time in bad weather, but we didn't use it as the weather was too good. For the children there is a playground with a climbing tower and slide, which is also okay, there are various children's vehicles, but most of them were broken or very unsightly, I think it would be better to replace them or get rid of them! There are two sanitary buildings, one with wash cabins, showers and toilets and one with toilets and the possibility to do your laundry. The sanitary facilities were always clean, perhaps not up to date but functional. The lights only come on in the main sanitary building towards the evening, before that it is quite dark in places. Everyone has to bring their own toilet paper, there is none in the toilets, but for absolute emergencies there is a dispenser with toilet paper in the corridor, which I didn't know before, but you get used to it. Waste separation is very much encouraged here, paper, plastic and glass can be disposed of, residual waste costs 1kg=1Euro, positive effect, you really separate more carefully than at home. Leftover food benefits the animals and can be handed in for feeding. There are no shopping facilities on the site, there is a small store 5 minutes away, where you can buy bread rolls, pre-order and a few other small things, about 500 m further on there is a small supermarket on a neighboring campsite. The path to the sea leads off the road via a dirt track and about 500 m to the sea you are on a super beautiful sandy beach, with plenty of space, as it is little used and a wonderful stretch of Baltic Sea. The water is very shallow here, ideal for children. There are lots of activities in the surrounding area, at least if you have a car with you. We really liked the Tolkschau amusement park, an absolute recommendation for children from 3 to 10 years (and maybe older). In short, we felt very comfortable here, it's not for luxury campers, but highly recommended for sociable people without dogs (which are not allowed here because of the farm animals). We are definitely toying with the idea of coming back next year! We wish Mrs. Hoeck a lot of strength and continued great support for her permanent campers, we liked it very much.

"Great, relaxing beach vacation - The most beautiful campsite we have ever been to as campers. We had a family bay. These bays are just great. Plenty of space, separated from the neighbors by hedges. Electricity is also available on site. There is a separate kitchen for campers. This is housed in a wooden hut. It contains several stoves (gas and electricity) and refrigerators. Each tent bay has its own box in which you can store and cool your food. You can use this kitchen free of charge! Tables and chairs are also available for the tents. The site itself is small and very lovingly laid out. But above all: it is very, very tidy. Cleanliness is really important here. You can also see this in the wash houses. The sanitary facilities are not brand new, but they are so clean and there are plenty of them. There are lots of animals on the site. From pigs, llamas, goats, ponies and donkeys to chickens and peacocks. A highlight for the kids: they are allowed to help feed the animals twice a day. A spacious playground is available, as well as a play hut where you can play table tennis or billiards. Children are also allowed to be children in this area. They are also allowed to play here during quiet times! As a mother of three kids, I think that's just great. Nevertheless, at no time was it so loud that you felt disturbed in your "sacred" peace and quiet. We found the whole atmosphere on the site to be very friendly and relaxed, also as far as the other campers were concerned (regardless of whether they came with a tent, caravan or motorhome). The beautiful Baltic Sea beach is just a 5-minute walk away. A really nice footpath leads from the campsite directly to the beach. There is no visitor's tax here, but it is supervised by the DLRG. The beach is wide, clean and fine sandy. If you're looking for peace, relaxation, a sandy beach and the sea, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!

"Very nice, but with flaws - We were on the course for 16 days, so we were able to gain some experience. Our rating is ultimately a mixture, as there are highs and lows (as everywhere). - The sanitary facilities are getting on in years and some of them don't look inviting. But they are in good order and absolutely clean, they are cleaned thoroughly every day. (3 stars) - The pitches are spacious and there are trees and shrubs. That was extremely advantageous this year. There is electricity, fresh water and the option to dispose of gray water at the pitches. There is a disposal facility for the toilet cassette in the sanitary building. (5 stars) - The site is a little paradise for children thanks to the animals and the toys available. Concerned parents will see the partially defective equipment with different eyes. (3 stars) - The general condition of the site gives the impression that its best years are behind it. A bit of tidying up and sprucing up here and there could improve the overall picture considerably. It also bothered us a little that waste disposal is only possible for one hour a day (but you can always give leftover food to the animals or put it in the feeding chamber) and that the cleaning times given for the sanitary facilities are only approximate, and it also happened that the showers were closed an hour earlier. However, as there is a second toilet building, this was always possible. (2 stars) - It is difficult with the morning rolls and daily needs. For bread rolls and cafe-to-go there is a small kiosk about 400m from the campsite, for the rest you have to drive quite a distance. (1 star) - The beach, which is about 500m away, is a dream. Fine white sand, gently sloping water, hardly any seaweed. The highlight of this section of the Baltic coast. (5 stars) Conclusion: if you don't want to spend a clinically clean, cramped camping vacation and can overlook the little things, you're in good hands here. (3 stars)

"No 4 stars - Undoubtedly a place for children to let off steam and get to know the animals. The site manager gave us a friendly welcome and accompanied us to our pitch. The size of the pitch is very generous, mostly integrated with permanent campers, who were all very friendly and open-minded. The site is very quiet and the Baltic Sea is only a few minutes away. Why not 4 stars? We didn't like everything about the sanitary facilities. First you sit on the toilet and realize that there is no toilet paper in the cabin. At first you think - well, it can happen, but there is no paper in any of the cubicles. There is a roll of toilet paper hanging in the corridor with a notice that this is an emergency roll and you have to bring your own paper. So you constantly see people walking around with toilet rolls. The shower cubicles are very narrow with shower curtains. The toilets at the back have 3 men's cubicles and 3 women's cubicles that lead off a shared corridor, which I didn't find so funny when a gentleman moaned next to me in the cubicle. The cleanliness is also in need of improvement. Waste separation is fine for us. But it's difficult if the yellow bags can only be handed in during office hours. The office hours are 1 hour a day from 10 or 11 am. You can also only buy shower tokens during these times. So it is not possible to leave early for an excursion or the beach. There is a cell phone number for emergencies. Overall, however, we had a good rest and can recommend the campsite with the restrictions in the sanitary area.
