"Beautiful place above the mountains - Beautifully situated in the countryside, it's a dream to enjoy breakfast early with a view like this. If you love hiking, this is the perfect place, there is also a bus to the village and back. Further up there is a chairlift that takes you to a higher mountain. You can eat quite well in the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned regularly. A washing machine is also available. We love this campsite and would love to come back.

"Brilliant panorama - Worth a stay for the panorama alone👍👍 A rather "sterile" place, but a great starting point for various sports. Very clean and very quiet in spring as there is nothing going on. Unfortunately no playground available, you have to pay extra for hot water - even for washing up! No store available. It's really expensive and the pitches are very small.

"directly on the ski slope - I recently visited the campsite after skiing to decide whether I would like to spend a longer vacation there in the summer. First of all: the ski area is great! I also tested the "Brigels" ski area opposite, which is small but very nice. In summer, there are plenty of hikes on offer, from short circular walks to challenging multi-day tours, everything can be started directly from the camp. The camp itself quickly won me over, everything seemed very pleasant and the people are very friendly.

"On our own behalf - We now live in Obersaxen ourselves: What is noticeable in the comments is that a lot is missing: in addition to river rafting and our own bathing lake (Rufali), cycling down the Rhine (shuttle), gold panning, paragliding, Walser trail (culture), old town (Ilanz), etc. are missing. Greetings CWB

In VALATA-OBERSAXEN zweigen Sie links nach SURCUOLM ab. Unser Campingplatz ist gut sichtbar. Die Strasse ab Ilanz ist …für Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile problemlos befahrbar - auch im Winter. Dank der Umfahrung Flims fahren Sie ab Autobahn REICHENAU in knapp 30 Minuten nach Surcuolm.
