"Very good camping on the Ardèche - Very good camping. Large, shaded pitches for tents or caravans. Good and spacious restaurant/terrace where you can eat very well for a good price. Spacious sanitary facilities, separate playground. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly. Direct access to the river. Also highly recommended in Corona times as everything is very spacious.

"Cozy campsite with a family atmosphere - This year's family vacation was wonderful and we were very happy with our choice of campsite. The pitches are quite large and there are both shady and sunny spots. The Ardèche is shallow in some places, but it was ideal for stand-up paddling and if you want to swim, there are also some deeper parts of the river. There is also no shortage of activities in the area. We were able to go canoeing, cycling and visit several flea markets. We would happily go there again any time!

"Everything is much more relaxed than on the other bank of the Ardèche - Yes, the site has a bit of 70s charm, but the pitches are large and not so bourgeoisly parceled out. The sanitary facilities were good and clean. What's more, you can still get a pitch when everything is fully booked in Saint-Martin d'Ardèche.

" - sandy site with large trees on the Ardeche. very large pitches. lots of dust from car traffic on the site. often loud evening events in the restaurant. Swimming in the Ardeche hardly possible when the water level is low (only 20 - 50 cm). nearest town several km away, very limited shopping facilities on site (bread, croissants, etc.).

" - Beautifully situated site with shady trees directly on the Ardèche with bathing facilities. Quiet location with the possibility of excursions to the Ardèche gorges. As beautiful as the site is, it looks neglected. The sanitary facilities were partly closed and as far as open, run down and unkempt. During our 4-day stay, nothing was cleaned, toilet seats were missing and only lukewarm water was available for washing up. Rental caravans are also available, but these also left a run-down impression. We refrained from using the restaurant except for enjoying drinks. Food supply at the campsite was inadequate, although fresh baguettes and croissants can be ordered.

On the banks of the river Ardèche with a 400m long beach, the camp site is in totally natural surroundings. Our Rentals : Our restaurant and bar have an air-conditioned dining room, a shaded terrace and take-aways, an adventure playground …for children, horse and pony rides (nearby), canoeing and kayaking on the river Ardèche and down through the Ardèche river gorges (the French Grand Canyon) and our dances and fancy dress evenings make Le Peyrolais a very pleasant place to spend your holidays.
