"overpriced greedy owners - No good words for this owners. Just plain greedy! The camping is already pricy for what it is, but then they ask money for the bicycle. 5€!!! While the camping runs full with bicycles that didn't pay, they asked us because they could not ask money for a car. I have done whole Portugal by bike and never had to pay for my bicycle! Never! Toilets without toilet paper. Unfriendly reception. Note that if you are allergic to cats, you better avoid this place, as it run full of them.

"An old-fashioned place. The facilities are getting on in years. - I only rate the sanitary facilities, which in my opinion urgently need to be renovated, with one star. I have given all other points 3 stars. This is meant to be neutral. I do not rate them. The site had a daily rate of EUR 14 for 2 people and a caravan.

Profile

Inmitten der unberührten Natur im schönen und heißen Portugal liegt der Campingplatz Vasco da Gama. Der Campingplatz ist eine kleine Dauercampstadt, wo sich Portugiesen wie Touristen an den Wochenenden und in den Ferien die Zeit vertreiben und entspannen. Die Rezeption …befindet sich vor der Schranke und ist mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tischen und einem kleinen Shop gut ausgestattet. Informationsmaterial zum Land und zur Umgebung bekommt man hier mit dem bloßem Auge schon. Die Wohnmobilstellplätze befinden sich im hinterem Teil des großen Platz. Im Schatten der Tannenbäume und auf sandigem Boden, kann man hier mit Strom- und Wasseranschlüssen verweilen. Zum Campingplatz gehört ein überdachtes Schwimmbad, das ganzjährig geöffnet ist. Ein großer Grillplatz mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und mehreren Grillstellen macht den Ort sehr symphatisch und man hat hier die Möglichkeit mit Einheimischen ins Gespräch zu kommen. Ein Kinderspielplatz mit Rutsche und Klettermöglichkeiten auf Sand, zum Zeitvertreib der Kleinen. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber und mit Duschen und Toiletten und Babywickeltischen ausgestattet. An der Rezeption mit WI-FI wird auch Englisch gesprochen. Hunde sind gestattet.
