"Good but expensive - The site is basically good. The location is good, the pitches are big enough and the sanitary facilities are fine. Only the excessively high prices at Orbitur are likely to put many guests off. 10-15 Eure more than comparable sites is not justifiable in the low season.

"Unfortunately not much better in 30 years - Pitches for caravans and tents have disappeared and mobile homes have been set up close to each other instead. The remaining pitches are reasonably good. 3 sanitary buildings have not changed for 30 years. Only one was modernized a few years ago. In the off-season - despite the high pitch price, 2 persons WW + car 27€ although the pitch is almost empty - there is not always hot water. Ultimately, after about 20 stays in 30 years, we won't be coming back. A swimming pool alone is not enough.

Profile

A campsite placed in extraordinary surroundings, in a small spa town on the Costa de Prata, which is often visited by inhabitants of the central-interior area of the country. It is one of the most attractive campsites in the Orbitur …network, located in a pine wood, quiet and with excellent infrastructures. It offers good commercial services, which include a bar/restaurant, swimming-pools with slides for all to enjoy, and bungalows fitted with all the comforts needed for a holiday or weekend. The beach, which is protected, is 600 m away. S. Pedro de Moel campsite won the first DCC Europe award in 2004, given in Portugal for the first time by the Deutsch Camping Club.
