"Place lives from its location on the Saltstraumen - The pitch is roughly gravelled, which is an advantage when it rains. The location is below average for Norway. Advantage: Only a few minutes to Saltstraumen. However, you have to pay handsomely for this. 31 EUR for a camper van and two adults without electricity is also borderline in Norway.

"no big deal - It is not a properly demarcated campground. However, there is nothing lacking. I only stayed one night and it could have gone. Very convenient to see the malmstrom.

"cozy cabin 10 minutes walk from Saltstraumen - This cabin was the 6th accommodation on our 3 1/2 week North Cape motorcycle tour. Our cabin had a spacious kitchen and a toilet, the price was reasonable. Everything was clean and the reception was very friendly. Saltstraumen is definitely worth a visit.

"This is not a bathing establishment :-) - Level pitch for an estimated 75 motorhomes/caravans. We received a very friendly welcome "in German" and had a free choice of pitches. The surface is mostly gravel, but there are also a few grass pitches to choose from. Unfortunately, there is no sea view. The shore of Saltstraumen is about 300m away on foot. The sanitary facilities are exemplary. One of the wash houses seems to have just been completed. There are about 10 unisex bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin. There are also toilet rooms with washbasins. Anglers have access to a spotless filleting room with freezing facilities. At the end of August, we paid NOK 290 for a mobile home including electricity and 2 people. Showers and WLAN are free of charge. There is a small but well-stocked COOP supermarket and petrol station over the bridge to the other bank (1300m). Unfortunately, the peace and quiet is significantly impaired. There is the nearby country road, as well as a public road between the reception and the pitches. The Bodø airport cannot be ignored and there must be an air force base somewhere nearby that likes to practice low-level flights. ------------------------Note: Despite the many stars we awarded, we didn't really warm to the site. Too many gravel surfaces and everything in a row, we missed that certain something.....and "view" is a total miss.

"Top location on the Saltstraumen - Nice reception - free choice of pitches - brand new sanitary building - free WLAN - supermarket within walking distance. The pitches are mostly on coarse gravel (in need of improvement). The highlight is the Saltstraumen, which can be easily reached on foot in 5 minutes. Tide tables are available at reception
