"Naja.... - Very unfriendly staff for whom every question is too many and every journey too far. Personal contact is not cultivated by the staff. About the sanitary facilities....naja, outdated and soaked in chlorine (incl. irritation of the respiratory tract)

"Small campsite directly on the Pulvermaar - We received a friendly welcome and were directed straight to our pitch. The pitch was large with a direct view of the Pulvermaar. The site is terraced and the pitches for holidaymakers are located down by the water. There is a steep climb up to the (old) wash house. We get quite warm walking up and that's a good thing, because the wash house is unheated!!! The showers are old but clean. There are There is no possibility to put your things (e.g. towel) in the shower cubicles, you can only take a shower and then get dressed outside. There is not a single hook at the washbasins. You have to put your things on the bench in the middle of the room (like in the changing room of a gym). The water temperature in the showers is fixed and cannot be adjusted. At night you definitely need a flashlight if you need to go out, as the lower part of the site is not lit. The location is ideal as a starting point for hiking or cycling tours.

"in the Volcanic Eifel - CP good for excursions into the Volcanic Eifel, "wild" bathing area on site, bread roll service, small dishes and delicious cakes in the snack bar, sanitary facilities outdated and unkempt, limited shower times: closed for 3.5 hours at noon and in the evening from 22:00, there is simply no light in the washroom.

"Peace and quiet at the beautiful(est) Maar - Small but nice hillside site directly on the Pulvermaar. Restaurant from morning to evening with good and inexpensive food and the finest homemade cakes. The tenant couple Meul give everything for the place and the guests.

"Small CP on a hillside directly on the Pulvermaar - Small, simple CP in a hillside location directly on the lake, reasonably priced. Good restaurant (food and ice cream), nice operators, helpful. Bread roll service. Swimming facilities on site, but difficult to access and very narrow. In summer there is a lot of traffic around the campsite during the day due to access to the swimming pool. Good hiking and cycling opportunities on the Maare Mosel cycle path.

"Quiet. Simple. Clean. Decelerated. - Camping that almost no longer exists. No entertainment, manageable size, quiet, old-fashioned but clean sanitary facilities, hot showers without the usual extra charge. Friendly hosts, a wonderful lake - the deepest north of the Alps. Bistro with good chips and currywurst. Pizza! Good starting point for excursions into the volcanic past of the Eifel. Good mix of permanent campers and tourists! A beautiful place!
