"Beautiful place! - Beautiful campsite with beautiful spacious pitches; both for (larger) campers, caravans and tents. Lots of privacy & tranquility. Really in nature, but not cumbersome. Nice plumbing with spacious clean showers, dishwashing facilities, washing machine. Friendly owners who have just taken over the campsite. Sandwiches in the morning and regular delicious meals on site. Mini bar at the beautiful natural swimming pool. We will definitely come back!

"Excellent campsite for those seeking peace and quiet. The owners very friendly and committed - Had nine wonderful days at this campground. Through the campground owner we had two meals at people in the village< was excellent and a nice experience. Natural swimming pool with good loungers and parasols. Very spacious campsite with lots of space and beautiful views. Plumbing is really class: a complete bathroom to yourself. Very hospitable and well taken care of.

"perfect campsite! - Truly unique campsite, beautifully located. Beautiful spacious pitches with lots of privacy. Sanitary facilities that would not be out of place in a 5* hotel. Highly recommended if you want peace and yet luxury!

"Beautifully located campground with very free sites. - Wonderful place, where you can enjoy nature in peace. Marga and Jurre are very friendly owners. Lovely swimming pool and 'too' nice plumbing, haven't come across anything like it. Definitely come back here a must!

Profile

Quinta do Retiro is a child friendly small-scale holiday resort in Central Portugal with four beautiful holiday homes and a small charming natural campsite with 18 spacious pitches. There are also two fully equipped family rental tents. The beautifully landscaped …ecological pool makes us unique according to our guests. In summer there are always several families with children of all ages. The quinta of eight hectares is located in a secluded little valley with a beautiful terraced landscape. The holiday homes and the campsite are both located on a private part of the quinta as there is plenty of room. The atmosphere is rustic, varied and green with many fruit trees, olives and grapevines. A small riverlet with rockeries and two small waterfalls flows through the grounds.

Follow this road for approx 3,5 km until you come to the end on a major junction and here you …turn to the right into the direction of Vila Nova do Oliverinha.
