"The honest man is the fool - Nice place, but we could only arrive in twos instead of threes. The staff insisted on full payment. We couldn't understand this as there were no costs for the pitch as long as the pitch was paid for. When asked about this, we were told that it was our own fault if we registered 3 people. Others only register the additional people on arrival. So if you inform the campsite too early, it's your own fault.

"Very nicely located place - Very nice welcome and helpful. We had a very nice pitch from which we could enjoy the view of the lake. The whole site and the sanitary facilities were super clean despite the site being fully booked. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

"Super place at the Laacher See - A great place, everything super clean and well maintained! Everyone is very eager to make a great stay for the guests! Sanitary always clean, restaurant worth a visit! All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very good infrastructure of the pitches and WLAN available. Beautiful lake view and right next to the forest ... wonderful From the site you can get everywhere quickly for excursions and hiking tours! And in summer you can go swimming in the lake and relax!

"Some things have changed for the better. - Beautiful, large pitches with water and electricity, on site and included in the price. You don't have to pay extra for showering either. Each pitch is surrounded by a hedge. You can also get bread rolls if you haven't ordered them. Although the dogs were not allowed on the lake, I felt comfortable and will definitely be back.

RCN Laacher See is on the Laacher See crater lake in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel conservation area. The volcanic crater is a terrific place to enjoy swimming, kayaking and exploring by boat in summer. Many also have a …view of the crater lake. The camping site is in a sunny location, but the trees and bushes offer shade where needed. The camping site offers the opportunity to experience nature, combing woodland and the recreation lake.
