"Great for passing through or for a few days - On our way back from Croatia, we wanted to stop for a night in Mureck. But we liked it here so much that we immediately extended our stay to 2 nights. The staff are more than friendly. And even after several questions, we were still helped in a friendly and competent manner. The whole site, as well as the individual pitches, is in a very well-kept condition. The sanitary facilities were in a very tidy and clean condition. We are already looking forward to our next stay in Mureck, which will definitely be longer than 2 nights.

"Pure relaxation - As newcomers to camping, we were given a very courteous welcome. We were impressed by the peace, cleanliness and accessibility of the site. The adjacent outdoor pool is included in the price. Especially for cyclists, this campsite is a perfect starting point for very nice bike tours. We will certainly be back.

"Ideal for cycling vacations - We chose this campsite because its central location appealed to us as a starting point for our cycling vacation. We were not disappointed, the CP is located directly on all cycle paths from the E9 to various A2 - A45 always wonderful along the Mur or in the vineyards or Slovenia. We felt very comfortable, the extremely friendly staff were also able to give us great tips on cycling tours, culinary delights, places of interest and the entire region. The sanitary facilities are absolutely fine, as is the infrastructure in terms of waste disposal. You can walk into town in a few minutes and find one or two restaurants or wine taverns. We stayed there for a week and would be happy to come back, provided that by then the WiFi is either free or works perfectly for a fee of 2.00 euros. It is currently an unprotected, very weak WLAN which is annoying during a longer stay (yes, you can live without it, but we are dependent on the laptop from time to time for work ...)

The 1st RV & Caravan Site Mureck , is the ideal location for cyclists, hikers and people who love travelling and exploring. The site is situated directly on the edge of the forest, adjacent to the outdoor pool and the …Mur river cycle path „R2“, yet only 200 m from the historic center of the town of Mureck. It provides ideal conditions for a time to relax. The site provides 82 divided, shaded and sunny pitches with electricity supply for RVs and caravans with up to 20 m length, separate sanitary buildings for ladies and gentlemen, supply and disposal facilities with 5 fresh water collection places, 3 disposal facilities for cassette toilets, Wi-Fi, a reception with with small garden an a dog garden, meet all requirements of a modern RV & Caravan Site. Only about 9.5 km from the motorway A9 (exit Gersdorf), the RV & Caravan Site Mureck is easy to reach via main roads. Numerous sights in Mureck and the surrounding Mur Auenland offer a variety of excursion and discovery possibilities, which are accompanied by pittoresque wine bars „„Buschenschanken“ with regional delicacies. There are the ship mill in the Mur („Murecker Schiffsmühle“) , with its old mill yard, which is only a few minutes' walk away from the site (about 200 m), the impressive Au adventure trail, the modern River Mur Tower „Murturm“, which offers a great view. After extensive cycling trips, hikes, or a city stroll, the site invites you to relax under the shade of the trees or swim in the adjacent outdoor swimming pool. Located close to the centre but away from traffic noise, your sleep will only be accompanied by the birds‘ songs. Open from April, 1st, until October, 31st, 24 hours a day
