"Overpriced campsite in a good location - The campsite is overpriced, the sanitary buildings are outdated but clean, albeit unheated. Showers cost 2 euros extra. The nearest town can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Restaurants and wine tasting stands are in the immediate vicinity. You can enjoy a direct view of the Rhine for an extra charge and cycling and hiking trails lead right past the campsite. Aircraft noise!

"We have never experienced anything like this before - We clearly advise against a visit here! Whoever gave this place an operating license was either blind or had big pockets. It is clear that the electrics must be specially protected near the Rhine, but it is life-threatening like this. Old armature tubes without fuses with CEE plugs tied to them are sticking out of the ground, about 30 cm long. As no one had mowed the lawn here for many weeks, they were barely visible. Then the operators demanded 2€ Kw/h and since we only wanted to stay one day we accepted this (a fridge in the caravan never uses this in 14 hours of presence) we were made to believe when we checked out that we had used 4 KW and since we only wanted to leave we reluctantly paid and left. So if you want or have to go to this site, get on the ladder and document the initial meter reading. We will buy an external meter as a result of this experience. In all the years since we have been traveling, we have NEVER experienced that the disposal of the chemical toilets is located directly in the sanitary rooms. The sanitary facilities are very old and the fittings, including the shower heads, are broken. Final remark: someone was looking for a new tenant here and nobody wanted to do it and so Eastern Europeans opened a "beer garden" and they don't care about the rest! Never again....

"Run Down - The site needs a refurb badly, it couyld be so good but very few staff are run off their feet and lacking customer satisfaction skills We wont be back

"Beautiful place with lots of potential - The site is quite quiet for a site directly on the Rhine. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately outdated with pipes laid on plaster. At first we were a bit shocked, but the sanitary facilities were always clean during our stay in the high season 2019 and were cleaned twice a day. Everything looks a little outdated. There should be a lot of investment to keep up. It would certainly be a lot more expensive then. Otherwise well suited for cycling tours along the Rhine or into the Rheingau. The nearest wine stand is within walking distance, and Rüdeshrim is only about 2.8 km along the Rhine.

"Place beautifully situated on the Rhine, near Rüdesheim - The site is beautifully situated on the Rhine, separated from the bank by an access road. Spacious pitches, whereby the positioning of the caravan or camper is predetermined. There is very little shade on the site, most pitches have a steep incline. There is no WLAN on the pitch. Site operators are very friendly, bread service on site, otherwise practically no supply. However, there is a good "Italian" restaurant directly on site (recommended). Water points on the site are sometimes very far away from the pitches. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years, showers very narrow and hardly any shelves or coat hooks. However, they were always clean when we were there. The site is particularly suitable for cycling and hiking tours. It is also not far to Rüdesheim/Drosselgasse pp. Although the site is located between the Rhine and the main road, the noise is limited. We can recommend the site.
