"Woman - All in all, a very nice campsite for one or more nights. The Wasserkuppe is easily accessible by bike.

"Child-friendly and well-kept place - We spent two nights here when we were passing through. With two wild children, it was just the right place for us. The children were able to play and run around at the castle without disturbing anyone, we took a short walk to the adventure playground in the village and here too the children were able to get plenty of exercise and look at the lambs and calves. There was a water treading area at the campsite, but there is also a lovingly designed water treading area in the village with a hammock, star cinema bench and wooden sculptures. Shopping is within walking distance at Tegut, but there is also a kiosk on site with fair prices. We received a friendly welcome and felt very comfortable.

"Quiet, well-kept, inexpensive - We spent 4 wonderful days here with our motorhome. Everything was perfect. If you like hiking, you'll get your money's worth here. Well signposted hiking trails and a beautiful landscape. For those who like cycling: Ebike or better mountain bike. It is very steep in places. Unfortunately, the signposting of the "cycle paths" leaves a lot to be desired. All in all: a campsite that can be recommended without reservation.

"Beautiful place - Very nice staff. Sanitary facilities are always clean. Very quiet site with very good grass pitches. Electricity, waste and fresh water directly on the pitch.

"Very clean and well-kept place. Great for relaxing. - We were on the site over Whitsun, when it was of course fully booked, but the staff had everything under control. According to the operator, it is always so full on long weekends, otherwise you can have a nice vacation here. We will definitely be back. There are also plenty of excursions to do, Wasserkuppe, Noah's sail, etc. The towns of Fulda, Fladungen and Gersfeld are easy to reach. MfG Siegfried Dolz

"Nice place with friendly staff - Despite CORONA time and last-minute registration, we were able to get a place. It wasn't our first time there and certainly not our last. Bread roll service and reasonable prices in the shop. We would like a fence around the dog meadow as it is next to the road. But at least there is a meadow, which is not a given.
