"Very central location - The square is just a few steps from the city center and the city wall/river. It is always very full, which is why early booking is recommended, as is arriving on time. (Admission is from 12 noon, the first ones are in front of the barrier at 11:30. In June 2019, a large building was erected next to the square, the noise was very limited.

"Super space in a central location - Excellent club site with spacious, gravelled pitches, parceled out by hedges, with electricity and TV connections. Best sanitary facilities, well dimensioned, even with individual washing cubicles. V+E available for camper vans. The campsite is in the middle of York; everything worth seeing is within easy walking distance. Take care when approaching! Navis guide you via Terry Avenue with a bridge underpass only approx. 2.60 m high. You have to drive over Clementhorpe. The price is not low: £28 for members, £40 for non-members, for 2 people, camper van, low season, all inclusive. At the moment (2018), noise from the adjacent building site is to be expected during the day. Reservation absolutely necessary at all times.
