Description

Profile

Salema Eco Camp is the place of choice of those who love nature and surf. We are located at Salema, part of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Cost Natural Park, in a fishing village in the civil parish of Budens, municipality …of Vila do Bispo, Algarve, that has a beach with the same name, Praia da Salema. Recognised by The Guardian and The Telegraph as “One of the world’s 50 best beaches” and one of the best in the “family category” and by the Travel & Leisure magazine as “one of the world’s most beautiful secret beaches”, this place will receive all those who come here with its arms wide open. We care about your wellness and we want to give you the best experience possible during your stay. If you came to us is because you are special! We foster unique moments that you will always keep in your memory. We want you to get all the good energy this place has to offer! This way, we are oriented towards people who are sensitive to subjects like: ecology, slow living, recycling, planet preservation and environmental awareness. Our apartments and studios were refurbished in 2019 and have a kitchen, bathroom and a spacious terrace. They are all personalized with themes like: surf, birdlife, cycling, arts crafts, sealife, etc. We also have our glamping tents: tipi tents and woody tents are the most purist. They have double or bunk beds (up to 4 people in Tipi tents), outdoor furniture, electricity and mini fridge. They do not have a bathroom, so guests will have to use the Toillet Blocks. The Lodge tents are spacious, with all the amenities (kitchenette, bathroom, maximum capacity 5 people), with a huge high terrace, full of charm and with a unique view. Our Mobile Homes are authentic bungalows with 2 or 3 bedroom with everything you need for days full of comfort. Bathroom, kitchen, living room, balcony and the most important, unique surroundings! At Salema Eco Camp you will find an Eco Store where you can not only buy selected eco-sustainable and organic cosmetics, food and cleaning products, but you can also find basic accessories for campers and surfers, buy some vegetables, fresh fruit, local crafts and inspiring books. Our restaurant is new and follows the same concept as the eco camp. You will find every day fresh and heathy food betting on local products and is open all day for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.
