"There is strength in tranquillity - A wonderful campsite for those who want some peace and quiet and don't mind that the nearest village is a bit of a drive away. There is a medium-sized store that basically has everything you need. There is also a mega ice cream!!! The prices are "Danish" high. For the little campers there are lots of entertainment options near reception and on the small beach. It is also possible to launch boats and kayaks here. We had beautiful sunrises during our stay and if you walk along the forest towards Genner, there is a "small" but still beautiful sunset. For walkers, however, it's a little poor here. Unfortunately, you don't have the best opportunities here. I also recommend leaving your bike at home. There is a small conservatory or greenhouse. You can sit here and help yourself to fresh herbs etc. Great idea!!!! Overall, the place made a very quiet impression. One of the wash houses is a bit outdated and the newer one is very busy. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and for a relaxing weekend this place will probably be our No. 1.

"Wonderful and more than satisfied - We chose this campsite for a stopover and were really surprised. Here you can almost speak of luxury camping and at a very solid price. The sanitary facilities were simply wonderful, clean and beautifully modern. The location and the view of the sea make the campsite unique. The owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. We received a very personal and warm welcome and farewell. We were sad that we only stayed here for a stopover. Definitely worth a vacation!

"Small but nice - During our stay, the campsite was almost fully booked. Accordingly, there were waiting times in the sanitary facilities during peak times. The wash house in the entrance area is of a high standard and the lack of gender segregation was not a problem. The "old" wash house is still(?) very basic, but clean. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Bread rolls can be ordered the day before and picked up at the registration desk in the morning. The kiosk at the campsite is stocked with the essentials, other shopping can be done in the neighboring village in the local supermarkets (Brugsen and Netto). We will definitely visit this beautiful site again.

"Super campsite - We (2 children, 2 adults) were there for the first time with a tent and were thrilled. The site with everything that goes with it is great. Everything is well thought out and you can tell that the campsite is run very warmly. The children loved the playgrounds. The entertainment program, which is not intrusive, is great. Absolutely recommendable!!!

Sandskaer Strandcamping is amongst the coziest and best camp grounds in Denmark. There is room for tons of experiences to make, right outside the Lillebaelt-bridge in the middle of impressing nature on the northern coast right outside of Aabenraa. The …area is known for it’s rich wildlife, including birds. Pheasants, rabbits and dears are often seen, and if you are lucky, you might spot playing porpoise whales in the ocean. It is here where the fishermen and divers meet up to enjoy the phenomenal wildlife that exists beneath the sea surface. We do our best to give you the greatest possible stay, which includes entertainment for children and adults, and presenting you the opportunity to smell the ground of the woods, feel a breeze in your hair and sand between your toes. Our bathrooms are excellent, we have a big kiosk and many other shared facilities.
