"Relaxing - We wanted to stay 1 night, we ended up staying 3 nights. The place is quiet, everyone can choose their SP with plenty of space to the neighbors. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. There is a small kiosk for quick shopping, everything else can easily be bought in Savonlinna. Wifi is available free of charge at reception and there is a sauna right by the lake. It's wonderful to have breakfast there in the morning. There is a bus connection to the city twice an hour, which is very cozy and invites you to linger.

"great campground- I recommend it to everyone - We stayed for 4 days in a tent, for two people 27 euros per day, all around cleanliness, morning sauna free of charge, places for tents on good meadows, near the kitchen, toilet, shower - all in excellent condition and cleanliness, good beach.

"Great place - We stayed there for 3 nights on our tour of Finland and really liked it. Good sanitary facilities, decent equipment and every day you can use the morning sauna free of charge from 8-10 am. The barbecue huts are also great. 15,-€ pitch, 5,-€ adult, 5,-€ children, 5,-€ electricity, 30,-€ family price plus electricity.

"untreated - we visited without a caravan, the general appearance was repulsive : a long walk to the beach from the caravan, untended grassland and mown hay had not been raked. The kitchen area was untidy and unkempt.The Savonlinna website did not provide any information about the area. There are no pictures or a base map on this page either. I do not recommend.

"Not good experience - I was there at the beginning of July with a big motor home. Our place was at the end of the camping area. Showers app. 300 meters. There was a shower place app. 150 ms, but it was connected with sauna and available only mornings. Only one place to get drinking water for motor home.

" - Former manor house with grounds sloping steeply down to the lake, which has been converted into a campsite. Direct access to a lake. Public sauna on the beach included in the price. Spacious terraced pitches under trees and in the open air. Very spacious campsite with only two wash houses, which are far away depending on the pitch. The showers in one wash house are in good condition, but not in the other. Disposal facilities are also sometimes a long way away. However, the beautiful natural surroundings and a wonderful lake with crystal-clear water make up for this. There is a simple breakfast in the main building for €6/person with a very limited selection (not really worth it for this price).
