"Beautiful place with very nice hosts - This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We liked it very much. The operators are very attentive and friendly, always ready to help, even far beyond the CP. The site is constantly being renovated and improved, largely also from an ecological point of view. It is well worth camping there. The restaurant deserves an award for its good food and attentive, friendly service.

"Great week in the Schlüchttal! - We stayed at the campsite as a family with 3 children. It was great that we were allowed to choose our own pitch and got a good tip from the host on how to position our caravan. We had a pitch with a mystical location and a view of the Schlücht, which we could reach via a small staircase. This was especially great for our children (3,6,8) for building and walking in the river. Mr. Wiesner was always available and had an open ear for us and gave us some good excursion destinations. He also saw the children and catered to them. The sanitary facilities were cleaned very well twice a day and the staff were always very friendly. As the bakery was on vacation during this time, Mr. Wiesner delivered and packed the bread rolls we ordered.

"Viewing prohibited - I wanted to have a look at the campsite before spending the night in a tent. I was told in an energetic and unfriendly manner that this was not possible to protect the guests and I was asked to leave. I have never experienced that in my entire life as a camper.

"A campsite to feel good at - A small, very well-kept site on the banks of the Schlücht in the north of Waldshut-Tiengen. It is laid out in terraces, with the lowest terrace, like a clearing in the middle of the forest, guaranteeing a comfortable and pleasant stay. The very committed owner regularly enquires whether everything is to your satisfaction and also suggests possible excursion destinations. Thanks to the manageable size, all distances are short, the wash house is very clean and hot showers are free of charge. The reception is in a small restaurant ("Gaststube zur Schlücht") with an equally small but excellent food and drink menu. If, like us, you come from the city, you accept the noise, very loud during the day due to the road leading into the Black Forest on the other bank of the Schlücht (trucks, motorcycles) and in the air due to the proximity to Zurich-Kloten airport (there are flights again) - at night, however, it is pleasantly very quiet, you can only hear the rushing of the stream. Two high-voltage power lines run across the site, but were not perceived as disturbing. Possible excursion destinations: Black Forest, e.g. Schluchsee, Titisee, Feldberg, St. Blasien Old town of Waldshut (especially Kaiserstraße) Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen (approx. 40 km) Lake Constance (Constance approx. 90 km) Switzerland (Zurich, approx. 50 km) A perfectly functioning, free WLAN completes the excellent impression that this campsite makes.

Alter Baumbestand und Buschwerk geben dem Platz eine wildromantische Atmosphäre. …Sie können wählen zwischen Wohnwagen-, Zelt- und Wohnmobilstellplätzen. Mitten im Grünen und doch nur einige Minuten vom Ortskern entfernt, bietet unsere zentrale Lage ideale Voraussetzungen für Rad- und Wandertouren im südlichen Schwarzwald oder in der Schweiz. Auch Kletterer kommen im Schlüchttal voll auf ihre Kosten, zumal das Schlüchttal als eines der größten und traditionsreichsten Klettergebiete im Südschwarzwald gilt. Einen Ausflug in die Schweiz können Sie mit einem Besuch des Thermalbades in Bad Zurzach verbinden. Ein Bummel durch die historischen Städte Waldshut und Tiengen ist absolut lohnenswert. Möchten Sie einfach nur einen kleinen Spaziergang unternehmen, dann besuchen Sie den Teufelskessel gleich hinter unserem Campingplatz, ein wunderschön verwunschenes Plätzchen mit einem kleinen Wasserfall. Unsere Gaststube zur Schlücht bietet frisch gekochte Speisen in einem schönen Ambiente. Im Sommer gibt es einen Sitzplatz mit 50 Sitzplätzen.
