"Saverne/Zabern - The Cp is on the edge of town and therefore relatively quiet. The French campsites close the reception at midday. Here it is possible to register via a QR code and you will be sent a 4-digit code for the barrier. Bread roll service available. Beautiful pitches, but the most beautiful are for the Wowa caravans. Only a few pitches are level. Small playground for children, a small swimming pool. Clean sanitary facilities. On certain days, itinerant traders come by and offer their wares for sale. The regional delicacies were very good.

"Multiple stays - We have been to this campsite several times. The excursion destinations are perfect. Cycling is great fun here. The shopping facilities are very good. Saverne is a very interesting town. No German is spoken at reception. The pitches for WOMO are ok. The lawn had not been mowed for a long time. Our very large pitch had to be cleaned of dog excrement first.

"Beautiful, quiet campsite - We were there for 5 nights, unfortunately the owners don't speak German and only very rudimentary English, but they were very nice. ------ Good, relatively new sanitary facilities, which were mostly very clean.----- Nice parceled out pitches, but we would have preferred a few more hedges. ----- The swimming pool is relatively small, but was ok. There was a swimming pool disco one evening which was well attended. It would be desirable if the swimming pool rules were better enforced. ---- There is a bread roll service with advance payment, and a small bar was open on several evenings. On another evening, a small market was set up, with wine tasting, tarte flambée trolley, sausage and vegetable stall, which we found very nice. ----- Good places to eat out

"Camping to feel good - Were here at the end of April. The camping site - like apparently all campsites in Alsace - is at the top of the hill. The entrances to the pitches are sometimes a bit narrow, you may have to maneuver quite a bit. Ramps are also necessary on most of the pitches, otherwise you'll be standing on a sloping surface. It is about 2 km to the town and the canal. The cycle path along the canal is well developed. It is worth cycling as far as the Saint-Louis/Arzviller boat lift. There is also a cycle path along the old disused section of the canal that should not be missed. The cycle path in the other direction is also well developed. It's also great that you can quickly reach the circular hiking trail to the Haut-Barr castle ruins from the campsite. There is also a riding stables next to the campsite. The reception was very friendly and the sanitary facilities were clean. The showers had plenty of hot water (no choice of temperature). There is toilet paper and soap in the sanitary area. The swimming pool is quite small, but was always well attended and the children seemed to have had fun - what more could you want. We felt very comfortable here.

"Simple, well-kept place that is getting on in years - We used the site for transit, as Strasbourg and Molsheim were full. The site is located behind a residential area, but is quiet. The pitches are large and clean, water is available nearby. The reception with store is simple and small, there is no catering itself, there is a food truck on the meadow where there is wine and barbecues. The sanitary facilities are dated, but clean. A bit of paint and minor work and the building would be attractive again. There are still leisure facilities on site, such as a playground, boules court, etc. The site was perfectly ok for an overnight stay, but would not be suitable for longer periods.

A charming setting for a holiday in the heart of nature and to discover the charms of Alsace, as a couple or with the family. The swimming pool is open throughout the season. The youngest will be delighted with the paddling pool, while the older ones can relax in the hot tub. Afterwards, you can enjoy a drink or a meal on the wooden terrace in the chill-out area. A zen atmosphere for a relaxing holiday in Alsace. The Portes d'Alsace team welcomes you to its charming campsite in an authentic and green setting. If you are looking to rest, you can also have fun and play sports, as numerous activities take place in July and August! Sports starts and muscular awakenings, tournaments, big wooden games... For families, there are numerous activities to keep you and your children busy: a playground, a parent-child area, summer tobogganing and many other activities are available at the campsite and in the surrounding area! An opportunity to come together with family and friends, young and old, and create a mountain of memories! Great, the holidays are just around the corner! Julio and Luc, our little goats, will be happy to see you, they will get lots of visits and cuddles. You can also feed them and collect the eggs from our little laying hens. Come quickly, our animals are eagerly awaiting you at the little farm workshops! Fresh bread rolls and other delicacies are delivered daily on request. You will find the most important food items and practical dishes to take away in the camping shop. Ideal if you arrive late and don't feel like cooking or don't have time. The popular pizza delivery van comes by several times a week.
