"Beautiful place right on the lake - Directly on the lake, shady meadow. Noise from the nearby main road at night, unfortunately. At least there is a lounge. The seating is comfortable, but stylistically there is room for improvement.

"For 1st night ok, but nothing more... - The tent meadow is generally very nice and if you check in early enough, you have a pitch right by the lake. However, the site is correspondingly full on a nice weekend. There are a few nice pitches for camper vans/camper buses. However, all the other pitches are very narrow and there is hardly any space. We were surprised by the unfriendliness of the staff. When registering (we came with our bikes and tents) I was asked in an unfriendly manner: "What do you want from me? You're not even here with a tent". When I then told them that we had made a reservation and that my tent was mounted on the back of the bike, nothing came back...... The modest store has completely exorbitant prices. It's normal and understandable that it's a bit more expensive than in the supermarket. But not such exorbitant prices as this store. Card payments (EC and credit cards) are generally not possible. However, there is an ATM on site.

"Beautiful campsite right at the upper end of Lake Walen - The campsite is located directly on the "upper" shore of Lake Walen, right where the Seez flows into the Walensee. In summer. It has relatively few caravan pitches. A little more for motorhomes, but they are not allowed directly on the lake. The site is quiet, although the main road and the SBB line are directly above it. The site and the sanitary facilities are clean. We really liked it there.

"Tent meadow directly on a major road and railroad - Beautiful location. Unfortunately very noisy as the tent meadow and sunbathing lawn are right next to the main road and the railroad tracks (main line of the SBB).

"The 1st impression counts - We stayed at this beautifully situated site in the off-season with a couple of friends (two motorhomes). The groundsman was authoritarian and unfriendly and assigned two small pitches at the normal rate where it was not possible to fully unroll the sun blinds. Our wishes were not listened to, although there were plenty of free pitches. The sanitary building is a long way away and makes a clean but somewhat outdated impression.

"Excellent. - I was with my wife in my car. Met very cordially. Excellent infrastructure. Nature indescribable. I recommend it to everyone. Impressions are very positive.
