"We will not be back - The campsite looks much better in the pictures than it is. There are only a few pitches for mobile travelers, the majority are permanent campers. We had to run the electricity through the hedge (and "tap" the guest garden lighting in the process) and we couldn't fill our water tank anywhere (no water connection at the site or at least nearby). The sanitary facilities are relatively new and they are also cleaned; however, they could definitely go into more "detail" (older limescale stains etc.) The same applies to the washing-up hut - this seemed completely untouched by cleaning processes during our stay (2 nights). Urgent recommendation: If you go there with a camper van, it is advisable to bring all food with you - there is NO shopping possibility far and wide, not even bread rolls... Although an "ordering service" is advertised on the homepage, the landlady, who was in charge during our stay, was a bit "unmotivated" overall, so it was better to save this question right away. The inn is only open in good weather. The landlady was kind enough to bake us ready-made pizzas, but at around 10 euros a slice, they were really expensive. There are also often "regulars" sitting in the garden, who sometimes shout something "funny" after you when you're on your way to the washrooms.... really doesn't have to be! The natural pool is within walking distance and also looks nice. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather and couldn't use it. There is nothing, really nothing at all, within walking distance... So you can get bored in bad weather. The train passes nearby, but we didn't really find the noise disturbing. Of course, everyone feels differently. This pitch costs 41 euros per night (as of 2020). The price/performance ratio is clearly not right here. We won't be coming back.

Description

Profile

Relaxation, Recreation And All That You Need For A Great Holiday! These points make up our philosophy for giving you the chance to have the holiday you deserve! Our camp-site changed ownership in 2009 and now, for the first time, …it is gleaming in a whole new light. To retain the high quality of the camping units and the generously-proportioned bathing area (over 20,000 m²), as well as the stock of trees, hardly any changes were made to the flora and fauna. The primary focus of attention was the renewal of the existing restaraunt and sunny terrasse. The beautiful landscape, directly at the Wallersee lakeside, transforms your camping trip into an experience. The camp-site, right in the heart of Salzburg region’s lake landscape, offering direct access to the lake, provides scope for the broadest range of activities in all weather conditions. Whether it is an excursion to Salzburg or a quick game on our tennis court – there is a broad spectrum of sport and leisure activities at the camp-site or the immediate surrounding area. Your pets are also welcome at our camp-site.
