"Place ideal as a stopover - We arrived at the site at around 3 pm and were able to occupy a pitch with electricity without any instruction. The operator arrived around 4pm and all we had to do was pay. The sanitary facilities were clean, but only 2 men's showers and some mixed toilets for men and women. The site was used by many as a transit site. The price was 400 SKR for 2 nights.

"With the potential to be more than just a place to stay overnight on the E4 - Small, fine campsite on the edge of Markaryd. Idyllic location on a lake despite the city location. Supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance. Friendly operators who can also be contacted outside reception hours. Not only recommended as a good place to stay overnight when passing through from or to the north on the E4, but also for a longer stay.

"Beautiful location by the lake - Stayed at the site for 2 nights, mainly to visit the nearby elk enclosure. Highly recommended. The site is beautifully situated by the lake. Some of the pitches are very sloping. Showers a bit dirty (but probably also due to the users). Access to the sanitary building with a numerical code. The barking of the dogs of a permanent camper often very disturbing.

Sjötorpets Camping, Restaurang och Café ligger i Markaryd i sydvästra Småland. Campingen ligger nära E4:an och bara ett stenkast från Markaryds Centrum intill natursköna Getesjön. Välkommen att boka din campingplats hos oss, vi har 55 platser för tält och husvagn …utspridda på området och tre enklare stugor. Getesjön bjuder på bad- och lekmöjligheter på stranden inne på campingområdet och vill ni utforska sjön närmare kan ni hyra en av våra kanoter eller roddbåtar. I restaurangen på området serveras dagens lunch året runt. De flesta dagar lagar vi ett svenskt och ett grekiskt tema. I cafédelen serverar vi gott kaffe, varm choklad med vispgrädde, glass, bakverk och andra läckerheter. Faciliteter Anpassat för rörel sehindrade Lekplats Restaurang Café Hundar välkomna Frukostservering Kiosk Skötrum för spädbarn Kreditkort accepteras Strand och bad Wifi / Trådlöst internet
