"Quiet campsite - Due to its quiet location, it is pure relaxation. To the shopping it is only 4 kilometers , food can be ordered at the service and is brought by the boss personally to the place . The warm and sometimes rough tone of the boss is fine. With problems one is Helped immediately. My wife, I and my brother-in-law and wife can only recommend the campsite.

"Great quiet and nice place - The campsite is parceled out and the pitches are very large. There is always a pitch available, even in the main season. The operators go to great lengths to ensure that campers feel comfortable. There are clear rules that are observed. The site is quiet and sometimes it is an advantage that there are mainly middle-aged campers on the site. There is not much on offer for children. The pool is small, but ideal for relaxing and swimming short lengths. The sanitary facilities were always clean and relatively modern. The sanitary facilities for the disabled are a little difficult to reach in a wheelchair, especially in the dark the gravel path to the ramp is an experience. The site is not lit at night. There are only lamps at the wash house. There are also minor improvements everywhere, which is why the site only gets 4 stars. Otherwise, the site is recommended for those seeking peace and quiet, cyclists and hikers.

"Wonderfully relaxing - Stayed at the Schönrain campsite over the weekend with 2 coaches. We were given a very nice welcome and the pitches were chosen according to our wishes. The site was rather empty overall, will probably go into the winter break soon. The site is super nice with trees and hedges here and there but not fully parceled out. This gives it an almost park-like impression in places. The sanitary building was always clean and there are sandwiches and snacks available at reception. You can go on lovely walks from the site. The only "drawback" is perhaps the somewhat high electricity price plus electricity connection fee. And a hairdryer in the wash house would also be nice! But otherwise everything was great. We'd love to come back next year!

"A real campsite - A wonderful campsite .... We immediately felt at home. It looks old-fashioned, but scores points with a top sanitary building ... the paths, the pitches, everything is generously laid out with lots of big old trees ...

"beautiful place with partly huge plots, quiet - We were greeted warmly on arrival and were allowed to choose a seat. It doesn't matter which space you have reserved, you just take the one that suits you. However, it is important that you stay at the front of the parking lots first, as there is no option at reception. There are many different pitches (size, sun, shade....) so everyone should find something. The sanitary facilities are very nice and were always clean. Basically, the site is very quiet on the edge of the village and borders on a forest. There are nice "walking paths" from the campsite. The peace and quiet was disturbed in the evenings by lawn mowing, hedge trimming, leaf blowers... I think this work could also be done during the day. There is actually also a nice pool, but the owner couldn't find a solution (Covid-19) on how to put it into operation. This works at many other campsites. When I took the liberty of asking, the answer was "be happy that you can camp again". The towns nearby, Gemünden and Lohr am Main, are very nice and worth a stroll, and the ruins in Gemünden offer a great view. I have to agree with my predecessor about the price for the dog, why do you pay anything for a dog. Overall, I can definitely recommend the campsite.

"Beautiful location, great for relaxing - We liked the place (location, nature, peace and quiet, leisure activities). Many destinations (Lohr, Marktheidenfeld, Karlstadt) can be reached by bike, the return journey was usually by train, a good alternative for the children in the heat. We also went to Schweinfurt by train, as well as Würzburg, both cities were worth a trip. The nearby town of Gemünden also offers great opportunities, and as is typical for Franconia, food and drink are well catered for everywhere. The forest close to the campsite invites you to go hiking, cycling and walking, also ideal for the dog. The owners are friendly and helpful, you can also buy something in the small store in reception, otherwise you can cycle to Gemünden. The terrace on the pitch is ideal for drinking wheat beer. We were also impressed by the new sanitary facilities, unfortunately some areas were not accessible due to the corona situation. We will definitely be back. Only the price for the dog at 3.70 euros was steep.

Suchen Sie einen schönen Stellplatz für Ihren Urlaub oder als Dauerplatz? Unser Campingplatz liegt mitten in Deutschland und ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge, Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren in den "Naturpark Spessart", "Naturpark Rhön" und das "Fränkische Weinland". Auf Sie warten …100-200m² große Stellplätze mit Strom- und Wasseranschluss (alle Dauerplätze mit Kanalanschluss), ein neues Versorgungsgebäude, ein Restaurant (Abendessen ab 17 Uhr) mit großer Terrasse für ein kühles Bier am Nachmittag und ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen, bei dem Sie jeden Morgen Ihre frischen Brötchen abholen können. Für die Kid's steht ein 1000m² großer Spielplatz, eine 4000m² große Spielwiese und ein platzeigenes Schwimmbad zur Verfügung. An Regentagen gibt es Zeichentrickfilme oder Unterhaltung im Jugendraum. Für die ganz Kleinen steht eine Krabbelstube für viel Spaß bereit. Das ältere Semester kann beim Freilandschach ein bisschen quatschen, in der platzeigenen Bibliothek einen spannenden Krimi lesen oder es sich im Whirlpool bzw. in der Dampfdusche gemütlich machen. Das ist alles nichts für Sie?
