"Good city campsite with good sanitary facilities - We stayed on the site with our caravan for 2 nights in July 2024 to have a look at Aachen. The site itself is well maintained and solidly built. The sanitary facilities are very good and sufficient despite full occupancy. There are mainly motorhomes on the site, but you can also arrive with caravans, but you shouldn't make yourself too wide. There are no fixed pitch dimensions, so you can find a spot where your stuff fits. There is no barrier, so you can arrive and leave at any time, which can of course be annoying. The disadvantage is that you can't make a reservation. We were lucky to get a place on Sunday afternoon at 16:00, 30 minutes later everything was full. Location is good, you can even cycle to the old town in 10 minutes. Bakery is easy to reach by bike. Recommended for a city trip.

"Good Plarz, but..... - Due to the miserable camping offer around Aachen, a booking option would be better, as arriving late in the afternoon with children is very risky.

"Nice place to explore Aachen - The reception is friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean. Unfortunately, the number of sanitary facilities is too small when the campsite is full.

"Still highly recommended with new special offer - The pitch is very easy to drive on thanks to its construction with paved and therefore flat and very stable pitches. The motorhomes and caravans hardly need any height compensation. Everything you need for a stay of several days is available in good quality. During the vacation season, you should be there by 4 pm at the latest if you want to get a pitch. Reservations are not possible. You have to occupy the respective pitch and then register either in the evening from 6 pm or in the morning from 8 am. The existing sanitary building is modern and offers sufficient clean toilets and showers. There is a disabled washroom which can also be used as a family washroom. The site is surrounded by tall trees and the pitch areas are separated by shoulder-high hedges, which provides good shade, especially in the current sunny weather. The new site management is friendly and multilingual. Sufficient information about the city, including a map, is provided. All in all, a very recommendable campsite close to the city, especially in terms of price, where it is also worth staying longer.

"Square close to the city center that has everything you need - Due to its construction with paved and therefore flat and very stable pitches, the site is designed more as a transit site, but also offers everything needed for a stay of several days as well as an appropriate night's rest, although entry and exit is always possible, so that even those looking for a place to spend the night very late could be accommodated in unoccupied pitches or parking spaces. As the driveways are covered with gravel throughout, the traffic is unmistakable. The existing sanitary building is modern and offers appropriate toilets and showers. However, the washbasins are all free-standing, which may not suit everyone. There is a disabled washroom, which can also be used as a family washroom. The site is surrounded by tall trees and the pitch areas are separated by shoulder-high hedges, as shown on the pitch overview. The site management is friendly. Sufficient information about the city, including a map, is provided. All in all, a campsite close to the city that can also be recommended in terms of price, but not for permanent stays.

Unser Stellplatz Bad Aachen liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur historischen Aachener Innenstadt mit Dom und Rathaus (Kaiserpfalz Karls des Großen). Die Fußgängerzone in Burtscheid ist fußläufig erreichbar. Mit dem Bus, Fahrrad oder auch zu Fuß kann man die Aachener Innenstadt …bequem erreichen (ca. 2km). Der Stellplatz ist idyllisch eingefriedet und befindet sich im Naherholungsgebiet "Gillesbachtal". Ein modernes Service- und Sanitärgebäude ist 24/7 über einen Tür-Code nutzbar. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Spülbecken, Duschen, WC´s und ein Familienbad befinden sich im Gebäude. Eine Entsorgungssäule (St-San) befindet sich an der Ausfahrt. Strom und Frischwasser sind für nahezu alle Parzellen vorhanden. Unsere Platzwarte helfen vor Ort bei allen Fragen rund um den Aufenthalt gerne weiter. Sie sind in der Rezeption zu finden. Vorreservierungen nicht möglich. Einfach anfahren und einen freien Platz auswählen.
