"Mrs - Terrible stay and will never return & tell others not to bother! Yes, the area is great for birds, but the beach literally stinks - like sewerage, NOT the sea! Due to rotting seaweed that has been piled on the beach the flies are awful. Cannot sit n relax, cannot sleep or eat outside and the dogs were tormented and stressed. Having stayed in other nature places, this is not the norm for this sort of area. Beach unusable. Drive another 1/2 hour and you will have clean, beautiful areas to stay peacefully. Having left a night early & complained our money was still taken and the blurb on Facebook was all they could quote. Worst stay in Sweden, Denmark, Holland or Germany. Shame...

"very remote CP - We were here spintan and had booked 2 nights. The nature in the south of Öland is really impressive. Unfortunately, the beach was very dirty and there were strange worms in the water. It's very shallow here. We therefore left after one night and got our money back without any problems.

"Windy place - A strong wind blows on Öland, which can also be felt on this pitch. The sanitary facilities need to be cleaner and possibly renovated. We were first referred to very peripheral pitches, but when I insisted, we were given a more central pitch. Not exactly friendly!

"Wonderfully situated - Wonderful location but what's the point if I'm disappointed with the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities every time. Also in urgent need of renovation. The place was definitely not worth the price.

" - The site is on the east coast of Öland. We were quite disappointed with the site, as the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities did not meet our expectations. There is nothing wrong with the fact that only half of the facilities are open in the low season. However, the facilities that are open should be cleaned regularly, which was obviously not the case. Otherwise, the site is in a very nice location and also has a small beach. Perhaps more effort is made in the high season.
