- Andreas S.June 2018Farm camping at its bestGenerously laid out site for only 30 vehicles + tent pitches (you could also make 3 times as many out of it without it becoming cramped). We received a very friendly welcome and were allocated a pitch. The huge pitches are about 15 wide and consist of flat, well-kept lawns. No road noise can be heard.... No mobile homes or permanent campers. The farm is farmed but there were no unpleasant smells. In mid-June we paid 20 euros for a mobile home with 2 people and electricity, plus 2 euros per dog. Showers are free, as is WLAN. We were at the far end of the large meadow and had good internet reception. There is a small supermarket 100m to the right of the campsite and two pubs 100m to the left. Just 10m to the left on the village road is a path up a small slope. At the top, you will find yourself at a narrow canal, the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal, along which an idyllic footpath runs. We walked about 6 km in a southerly direction until we came across a welcoming pub....You'll be back again!Automatically translated.
