"A lot has happened - We actually wanted to go to the pitch outside, but we were turned away because it was said to be overcrowded. We had read some negative comments about the Headland, but a lot has changed. The showers have been modernized and the old sanitary building has been renovated, but still has a certain quaintness. Everything was still reasonably clean in the evenings. The showers are now free of charge, only the hairdryer costs 20p. But the pitch for two with a camper van without a steim costs only £16.5 instead of £37 at the neighboring pitch. The location is great: quiet at the end of the village street, 2 minutes to the nearest bakery and the shopping street. If you don't need any frills, this is the perfect place, just a ten-minute walk from tintagel castle.

"Simple place with good location for activities on the coast - The pitch is very simple. The location makes up for a lot. Sanitary facilities in rustic condition. You can walk the coastal path from here and visit Tintagel Castle. The village is within easy walking distance, with lots of stores and typical restaurants. We liked it despite its simplicity.

"Conveniently located pitch. - Conveniently located CP in a pretty village, close to the Old Post Office and Tintagel Castle. Sloping terrain. Only about half of the pitches are parceled out and have electricity. Two sanitary facilities, upstairs and downstairs, only upstairs with showers, are very old with some defects. The campsite is in high demand, even in the low season all electric pitches were fully booked at weekends. The price of £19 all inclusive is ok, only showers extra (20p for 4 minutes).

Ein sehr praktischer Campingplatz direkt in Tintagle. Einfach einchecken und zu Fuß zum Tintagle Castel aufbrechen (spart die Kosten für den Parkplatz). Tolle Lage und auch sonst alles vorhanden, was der Camper braucht: Strom und gepflegte sanitäre Anlagen. Ein toller …Ausgangspunkt um Tintangle zu erkunden und natürlich auch den Coast Path. Selten liegt ein Campingplatz so zentral fast im Ort, so dass man Abends aufbrechen kann um die örtlichen Pubs zu erkunden.
