"Never again - After a long drive, we were happy to find a campsite right at the entrance to Inverness. Unfortunately, we didn't notice when we entered that the site didn't accept tents. Even at check-in, due to a miscommunication, we didn't realize that we were staying in a tent. At 11:00 pm we were suddenly rudely awoken by the owner and a member of staff and expelled from the site with wild insults. There was no discussion whatsoever. Fortunately, we were given a friendly welcome at the second campsite in Inverness, which was not far away.

"Conveniently located but simple - Commercially run, lovelessly organized and managed. Above all, there is no barrier for the night's rest. Overnight stay ok, but don't forget your earplugs. Cleanliness of the toilets passable.

"Good place for Inverness - If you want to visit INverness yourself and then travel on, the place is suitable. For a longer stay I would choose a different site. The site is easy to reach from outside, as it is located on a main road and on the edge of the town. The pitches are grass pitches, so may be soft if it rains a lot. You can walk along the river to Inverness. Shopping at the CP is not possible, so you have to drive into the village about 2 km to a Coop or by car to Lidl or Aldi.

"Recommendable, although a little too expensive - Stayed at this site with a campervan and dog. As it's right on the Canelonian Canal, it's easy to walk with dogs. Apart from the beeping of the canal bridge, a quiet site. There are plenty of facilities and they are clean. Very well located for visiting Inverness and the surrounding area. A little expensive at 29GBP. (There is another site nearby which would have only cost 20GBP. However, the location was in the middle of the noisy school sports/ festival area)

"Simple, but beautiful campsite. Fine grass, guaranteeing a pleasant stay - It is a very pleasant campsite to stay in. The grass and plumbing are of good quality. I will definitely come back here again.

Profile

Der Caravanpark liegt am Hafen von Invermess und ist vor der Brücke leicht zu finden. Vor der Schranke befindet sich ein Parkplatz mit einem hohem Torweg. Die Sanitäranlagen und Toiletten sind sehr gepflegt und mit einem Haarwaschbecken, Fön, Toilettenpapier und …Handwaschseife eingerichtet und ebenerdig begehbar. Die Stellplätze sind im Rondel aufgebaut und auf festem Boden. Strom und Wasser befinden sich an den Stellplätzen. Sie können hier Ihre Chemietoilette entleeren. Die Ness, der Fluss lädt zum Spazieren ein und das Zentrum ist ganz nah. Es gibt viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z.B. einen Botanischen Garten. Für einen Zwischenstopp und wegen geringen Entfernung zur schönen Altstadt hat der Campingplatz eine sehr gute Lage.
