"Top place in a super quiet location - We have been using the Caravan Club on our vacations on the island for several years now. The sites are all well maintained and clean. The location of the Treamble Valley site is easy to reach, you don't have to trudge for miles through single tracks, but it is still quiet and away from the main roads. The reception is dotted with the most colorful flowers and palm trees. At first glance, but also at second glance, the place makes a super well-kept impression. The staff (the wardens) are super friendly and always up for a chat. The site has grass pitches, but also hardstandings. There is a small kiosk in reception and several times a week the Wardens bring a fish'n'chips stall, a mobile pizza baker, the butcher etc. to the site. You can always strike up a conversation while queuing and the atmosphere is super relaxed. You can start hikes from the campsite and don't have to rely on your car. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and very clean. Newquay is known as a surfer's paradise and is just around the corner, there are several large shopping facilities nearby and there is no shortage of places to visit in Cornwall anyway. The area itself is quite rugged, the south of Cornwall is a bit more gentle, it's just a matter of taste, I think you should have seen both. The prices are sometimes a little higher than other non-club sites, but the clientele at CaravanClubSites is also quite pleasant. There are no drinking bouts or parties late into the night.
