"no heart for campers - There are only parking spaces for cars in front of the check-in, there is no space for caravans or motorhomes. Check in is automatic and you have to find your own way around. The pitch floors are only partly grass, mainly dirty sand, and when it rains the pitches are sometimes 5-10 cm under water. The sanitary buildings are OK but are cleaned at the best time from 8:45 to 10:30. Supermarket and restaurant are nice and modern, but also very expensive, food with a drink 25-30€ per person.

"Dark place - Were on the campsite over New Year's Eve No water on the pitch (no frost), toilet house far away, 3 toilets for the guests, overall an imposition for this price

"Disappointing - We are currently on the comfort pitch over New Year's Eve. The water is turned off because of winter. That's okay, but it should be written on the site. TV connection should be available but does not work. We let them know this morning. Someone wanted to come by 6 pm. Nobody came. Have just been to reception again. We were promised that someone would come this evening. We don't really believe this as nobody seems to care. We have been camping for years and have never had such problems. Oh what is important. The place with the advertised boulevard is a ruin. Not a single restaurant or store. This is incorrectly stated on the homepage. The wash house is very basic and dirty. The beach is at least very nice. We will never come back and are currently just disappointed. On New Year's Eve, a couple of friends came to the campsite for 2 days to celebrate with us. Otherwise we would leave

"Never again Vacantiepark Kijkduin - Never again. Narrow and dark. Quite difficult to get anywhere with a large camper van. Hardly any sun because far too many trees and too high. The place very confusing. Proximity to the beach ok. But we would not recommend the site itself. We were there for the first and last time

"Great short vacation right by the sea - The reviews on this portal made me doubt for a long time whether the campsite was right. But with 2 teenagers who really wanted to go to Scheveningen to the pier and the city of The Hague, the location of the campsite is ideal. And what can I say: we would come back any time. We were there for 6 days with the caravan, the sanitary blocks are basic but were always clean. The park itself is great, with lots of entertainment, which we didn't use. Directly by the sea, we were at the water's edge in 10 minutes on foot. There are certainly nicer campsites, but this one is perfect for a few days and is just super centrally located.

"A weekend trip is worthwhile - We had booked a pitch in advance for the first "ride" with our new caravan. The booking was very straightforward. A few days later we received a map by post with which we could then drive to the site. However, the pitch assigned to us when we booked only existed on the map of the site. The numbers in front of and behind our pitch could all be found, but not ours. Without further ado, we simply parked where it should have been according to the map. Nobody even noticed we were the only ones in the whole row. The water connection that should have been there according to the booking didn't work for us or the other campers. I can understand that at this time of year, but it should still be pointed out when booking. The pitch was generally quite empty, but this was probably due to the time of our trip. The sanitary facilities were clean, which was very important to us, and you could go on long walks with the dogs. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back again. However, I can imagine that it could get very "cozy" in the high season when the place is fully booked.
