"A gem in the Palatinate Forest - We spent 4 wonderful days here. The site manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. No path was too long. The camping club lit a fire for dancing into May and we were even allowed to put our barbecues on the grill. We were overwhelmed by the warmth of the people there and felt right at home.

"You are not in good hands here. - We went to the campsite from time to time, but would no longer recommend it. The sanitary facilities are still in good condition, but are not cleaned every day. If the faucet is defective, a sign Defekt ran, it can not be repaired. The sandpit for the children is full of weeds and roots, just as unkempt as the Baulebahn. We went to the pond to get something to eat or drink. It's a small snack bar and you're in good hands there.

"Peace, relaxation and a fantastically beautiful landscape! - We stayed at the Campingclub Pirmasens campsite for 10 days and felt very comfortable! We received a very warm welcome, and the site managers (the groundsmen take turns every week) are super nice and helpful. You are not just a guest on the site but feel like a member of the community :-) We also really liked the peace and quiet here: you can hear the birds chirping and the wind rustling in the trees - and nothing else! It's really wonderful: no street noise, no airplane noises. At night we could even hear a little owl calling. And the children were very happy about the little frogs that you see hopping past from time to time in the evening :-) There is a small swimming lake within walking distance of the campsite (unfortunately it was already too cold to swim) and a kiosk (with seating in an arbor - wonderful) and very tasty restaurants in Ludwigswinkel and Fischbach. There are many excursion destinations worth seeing in the surrounding area, especially the Biosphere House in Fischbach (with falconry demonstration), the many great castles and of course the rocks and fairytale forests of the Dahner Felsenland. All in all, a perfect vacation and we will definitely be back! Many thanks again to the friendly campsite operators!

"Peace and friendliness - If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place for you. excursions to nearby France are recommended, e.g. a visit to the Maginoline line. the campsite operators are open to all wishes.

"Fair prices on site - Good value for money, very clean sanitary facilities, food and drink on site at fair prices. Since it is a camping club, there are rules "Lunch break from 12:00 - 15:00 is the highest "good" You are not allowed to drive off the site by car during this time (barriers are closed). Otherwise nice people on site. On the whole it was a nice short vacation. A little tip: in Hauenstein (approx. 25 km away) there is a shoe outlet with 26 shoe stores. We will be back again.

"Pure relaxation... - We can only say --- "This place is great". The unbelievable peace and quiet, the super nice operators (CCP). You can do almost everything by bike, to Fischbach for shopping, excursions in the surrounding area, bike tours to France, etc. A great area, especially if you need shoes ;-). We'll definitely be back again. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle and are looking for peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you.
