"Camping with a view - A campsite like I love it. Without a lot of frills. Operator and son very friendly and accommodating. The campsite is about 700 meters high with a beautiful view. Pitches very spacious and you can choose your own. Very quiet at night despite a road nearby. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years but very clean at ALL TIMES. Within a radius of 100 kilometers many sights e.g. Wartburg, Trusetaler Schanzen, Arche Rhön, Trusetaler waterfall and and and. Not to forget the Thuringian Rostbratwurst sausage is available at every butcher. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

" - Ein einfacher Campingplatz mit wunderschöner Aussicht richtung Sonnenaufgang. Alles sehr einfach aber sehr sauber. Gut für schöne spaziergänge. (Geschichte DDR Grenze) Morgens kann mann sehr gut Frühstücken. Imbiss auch da. Strasse in hörweite aber stört nicht. Wir haben da schöne Tage verbracht. Die dame vom Campingplatz ist sehr freundlich, besser geht es nicht. Immer gerne wieder.

" - Quiet, almost secluded site on a former barracks area. Not parceled out, slightly sloping meadow with a great view of the Thür. Rhön. Sani in need of renovation. Friendly, helpful site management

Profile

Der Campingplatz Weidberg ist unweit von der Erlebniswelt Röhnwelt mit einer schönen Fernsicht gelegen. Es gibt keinen Schatten, dafür eine große Campingwiese. Strom, Wasser und Abwasser kann man an einem zentralen Servicepunkt bekommen und entsorgen. Die Duschen sind sehr sauber …und über mehrere Stufen im Hauptgebäude am Parkplatz erreichbar. Der Wasserpreis ist im Campingpreis enthalten, zum Waschen steht eine Waschmaschine bereit. An der beschrankten Einfahrt befindet sich ein niedlich angelegter Kinderspielplatz mit viel Schatten. Kleinkinder können auch ein Trampolin benutzen. Die Stellplätze befinden sich auf Gras. Dauercamping ist möglich und Hunde sind angeleint ebenfalls herzlich Willkommen. Der Campingplatz befindet sich unweit von einem Skigebiet. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind wenige Kilometer vom Campingplatz entfernt. Je nach Wunsch können Sie vor Ort kiloweise Wildfleisch beim Förster bestellen. Auf dem Platz befindet sich eine Grill- und Feuerstelle mit Sitzmöglichkeiten für gesellige Runden.
