Description

Profile

A family run, 4 star, park situated in the beauty of Devon's countryside with many scenic beaches a short drive away. We offer touring, camping and holiday caravans in a wonderful countryside setting. Whitehill is in an area of unsurpassed …natural beauty and has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Amongst our many natural attractions are our bluebell-ridden woods that play host to badgers, pheasants, buzzards, kestrels and other wildlife. With walking and cycling trails from the park, the Torbay in Bloom Award and the David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation and environment, it’s a fine setting. Whitehill Country Park was once a stud farm where shire horses were bred for showing and fieldwork. Nowadays, the stables and old stone farm buildings are used for the park facilities. Our facilities include an outdoor heated pool and children’s pool, craft room, playground, swings, play area, games’ room, cafe, bar and shop. Plus, we have woodland and countryside walking on our doorstep. Whitehill Country Park itself covers over 40 acres. There are many attractions nearby including Dartmoor National Park, Paignton Zoo, Model Village, Crealy Adventure Park, Splashdown Water Park, Kents Cavern, Pennywell Farm, Living Coasts and National Trust properties.
