"Stormy and beautiful place - We stayed at the campsite for one night in October while passing through. We were given a friendly welcome, a pitch was suggested to us, but we were free to choose. The pitches are generously laid out on a large grass pitch with markings on the ground. There are no trees or bushes here. The front row on the cliff is reserved for the rental accommodation. The terrain is slightly sloping, so this has to be leveled out on each pitch. More or less depending on the pitch. The direction in which caravans/motorhomes must be positioned is prescribed by fire safety regulations. Caravan in the middle, on one side the awning tent, on the other side the car. One electricity column for two pitches, so the paths are not too long. Water is available at central points. The sanitary facilities are simple and not the newest, but clean, which is the most important thing. Showers and electricity included. Satellite reception is good. When we were there, however, it was so stormy that the dish remained folded up for safety reasons. There is a large playground and a large barbecue area next to the reception. The site is great for dog owners. Right next to the site are large meadows with paths for walking dogs. Dogs can also run free here. To get to the beach, you have to walk along the coast for about 15 minutes, then you come to a beach access that leads down the steep coast on a path. The beach is wide and has fine sand. Definitely great in summer. You should be careful on the cliff, the edge is not secured and behind it there is a steep descent. We paid 21 pounds for two adults, two dogs, car and caravan including electricity in the low season. There are shops on site (small market) or 10 minutes away by car (Lidl).
