"Normally a great place, due to some changes well ..... - We've been there once or twice a year since 2011. Everything has been perfect so far. However, the place thought they should build a luxury food zone + luxury lounge area on the upper deck down by the beach. Except that the stay there is very expensive (a bed 25 euros per day and a 2-person apartment 60 euros) and you would need a plan below in the respective food zones where to get something and according to the menu, monster prices are also charged. So I can't see anything positive about this monster hut on the beach. Instead, the best ice cream store in the club has been closed, the beach bar, which always offers good drinks, coffee or a beer in the beach area with a view of the sea, has closed, the beach restaurant in the marina area is closed and a beach bistro on the other side near the aqua park is also closed. So everything that provided a sense of well-being in the beach area is no longer there. For example, it would have been good and necessary to completely renovate wash house 1. Everything is spotlessly clean there (the ladies who look after it work perfectly), but cracked tiles in the toilets, partially defective shower fittings (briefly warm, then cool again, then warm again ....), toilet doors with a blocked locking mechanism, etc..... are not necessarily positive. I have also heard (I can't find out if this is correct) that there has been a change in the area of the managing directors, who were then also responsible for these changes. Well, I think some decisions should be reconsidered, the long-time guests would certainly like that. I also spoke to some other guests who were of the same opinion and had already expressed this verbally at the camp reception. I will also pass this on at reception when we leave this time. We'll see if it has any effect.

"Summer vacation July 2023 - We spent our summer vacation July 2023 at the campsite Zaton Holiday Resort (2 adults, 2 children). The arrival lane is very well developed and easy to recognize. Check in was very quick with very friendly German speaking staff. The pitches can be reached via narrow access roads (known for Croatia), with good signposting. The size of the pitches correspond to the description. Waste disposal is ensured directly at the pitch by waste garbage cans, which are emptied twice a day. The path from the second row by the sea to the sanitary facilities is very long. In the evening, the path to the sanitary area is like a night walk due to defective or non-existent lighting. The toilets, showers and washbasins were constantly cleaned. Night's rest is not observed on the pitch. The beach area is very accessible and wonderful for children with a shallow bathing area. The sunshades and sunbeds are subject to a charge. In the beach bar you can buy small snacks and drinks at normal prices. The menu can only be viewed online and orders are placed with the unfriendly waiter. This ill-conceived system is also used at the pizza station, where the staff are completely overwhelmed and there is a complete mess. The supermarket is always busy and the selection of fresh fruit is subterranean. The staff at the checkout are massively unfriendly. There are better shopping opportunities in Nin and Zadar. Fruit is sold on the street. Pool area is completely overcrowded and extremely noisy. The wellness area is not accessible for children and there are no free sunbathing areas. The grass may not be walked on. There are activities for children. Conclusion: We know Croatia very well from previous vacations and will not visit this place again. Even in the high season, pitches in a prime location were free. The policy of the facility is going wrong, by turning the price screw.
