Polidor Family Camping Resort Ülevaated

The campground is small, neat, and has a very family-friendly atmosphere. We felt very comfortable there; the campground was easy to navigate since there weren’t many sites. We really liked that. At the front desk, we were greeted warmly—and in German, too. We were allowed to choose a spot (there were two to choose from). We were parked right next to the large washhouse. At first, we were worried it might be too noisy because of that. But no—it was pleasantly quiet, even when there were kids’ activities or other events. The washhouse was always clean and tidy. It could use some updating in certain areas, since it’s a bit worn out, but that’s just nitpicking. The kids’ activities were great. A different theme every week. One time it was mermaids (with tattoos and braided hair), another time it was building with Legos. Mini disco. The pool was great, too. A small pool area with slides for the little ones (but the older kids had fun, too). The deep pool was perfect for cooling off. In the afternoons and on weekends, though, it was a bit too small since everyone was in there. Then, unfortunately, you couldn’t really swim much. The pool bar was okay, too. Unfortunately, they only accepted cash. It might be a good idea to give guests a chip—like a watch or something—that they could load with money and use to pay. We also had dinner at Nando’s Grill. The waitstaff were very friendly. However, they only accepted cash there as well. There was a washing machine available, and at €6.00 per load, that was fine :) Pool loungers were free. Awesome! Everyone there was very, very friendly.

The beach section. We were taken to the D'OR beach section on the tourist train. On the train, they told us we needed one of those white wristbands. Unfortunately, we didn't get one, but we were let in anyway. But we didn’t feel comfortable there at all. Even though the lounge chairs were free at the time, we felt pressured to buy something. We quickly walked over to another section. We found the kids’ TV in the large washhouse inappropriate. It would be better to only turn it on occasionally. Toward the end of our vacation, a group of (young) men was there, and they were happily enjoying cocktails in the pool—and one or two of them were extremely drunk. That shouldn’t be happening at a family campground. But all of this is just nitpicking.

A small but very nice campground. Super friendly staff. I've rarely seen such clean restrooms. The restaurant is really good.

The nearby Dog Beach is rather small, and the beach club wasn't really our thing because of the very loud music, but that's just a matter of taste—it's not the campground's fault 😉

Short distances to the wash houses and all amenities. Not directly on the beach, but sheltered from the wind!

It’s not big so you are quickly everywhere you need to be. It’s clean and the people are nice

Da gibt es nichts

Sehr gepflegter schöner Platz, für Familien mit Kindern ideal, nicht zu groß und überschaubar. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und es wird auch deutsch gesprochen. Wir hatten einen Stellplatz gebucht , hat alles super funktioniert.h

Der Platz ist sauber, die Pitches schön groß und mit Wasser und Strom am Platz. Die Sanitärgebäude sind sehr sauber, im Frühjahr auch noch beheizt, das Wasser immer warm.

Top facilities, clean, perfect with small children as there are indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Worth the high price.

No market or restaurant open in the immediate vicinity in March. Rather expensive.

Plätze sind mit Kies ausgestattet, wenn es mal ordentlich schüttet dann merkt man das nicht so, Nachteil man kriegt keine normalen Heringe rein. Günstiger Platz für die Nebensaison, sauber und ordentlich.

Das Waschhaus, davon gibt es nur eins, da ist alles auf engem Raum untergebracht, Sogar das Spieleparadies mit großer Rutsche für die Kinder, da ist immer ordentlich was los und natürlich laut. Die Villas auf dem Campingplatz sind mittendrin und da lassen es die Leute auch oft krachen, lauter Aussenpool mit Whirlpool, Feetenzeit halt, von Ruhe erst später dran zu denken und wir sind noch keine Rentner, die nur ihre Ruhe brauchen !! Wäre schön gewesen, wenn der Grill auf dem Platz auch noch offen gehabt hätte, weil besucht war er ja noch gut für die Zeit.

De familiecamping is kleinschalig opgezet. Hele mooie ruime kampeerplaatsen. Het sanitair is echt heel mooi en wordt van s’morgens vroeg tot s’avonds laat geweldig schoongemaakt. De camping is mooi aangelegd en lekker rustig.(om 23:00 uur is er complete rust😁) Zwembad is klein maar wel gezellig ( de bar in het water is super) Restaurant Nando is een aanrader. Lekkere gerechten en zeer betaalbaar. Personeel is altijd vriendelijk. Er zijn een aantal leuke strandjes in de omgeving. Strand D’Or zou ik vermijden😠 Strand Funtana is Top🏖️ Vlakbij de camping (rotonde) is een Plodine supermarkt. Tevens is daar vlakbij een geweldig strand met een gezellige koffiebar.

Strand D’Or is voor ons tegengevallen. Erg commercieel. Er mag totaal geen eigen eten of drinken worden meegenomen.(inleveren bij de ingang) De bestuurder van het treintje moet echt op een cursus klantvriendelijkheid gestuurd worden. Wat een verschrikkelijk e man is dat😡 Ook kan de weg naar de camping verbeterd worden. Bij het wegrijden is er ook weinig zicht op het verkeer vanwege het grote bord.

The staff is very friendly! The campsite is excellent because it's not large.

Maybe a chair or something more for hanging clothes in the small sanitary.
