Unfortunately, the attached restaurant is not at all. Inattentive and poor quality. After we were... ignored for a very long time (despite numerous staff) I asked if I could also order - I would have preferred not to.... Do yourself a favor and dine out. Located right by the sea, you can relax and unwind here. The sanitary facilities are clean and probably quite new. Entrance area narrow - parking at check-in only opposite, which is not obvious - no signVery nice place in a fantastic locationBeautifully laid out site in a fantastic location. Directly on the beach. The site itself is very secluded, you have to drive further to go shopping. The restaurant on site is very good. Beautiful pool area, nice children's playground. In the high season there is animation, we were there at the beginning... and it got crowded and loud in the evening due to youth groups etc. Before that it was heavenly quiet. Heavenly peace before. The entrance area is narrow and parking at check-in is only possible in a separate parking lot opposite. However, this is not signposted and not obvious. We parked our car and trailer "incorrectly" at check-in, immediately received an unfriendly "reprimand" and then had to maneuver the car and trailer backwards to park in this other parking lot. We saw others who had the same experience during our stay. This could easily be prevented by putting up appropriate signs. Otherwise, the staff were always very friendly.Käännetty automaattisesti.

On arrival you are greeted in a friendly manner and a pitch is suggested, we visited the pitch and were satisfied, approx. 140 m2, electricity, water, waste water and a table with benches were available. The... many mobile homes are loosely arranged with lots of greenery, the sanitary facilities are top and super clean. WC with toilet seat and paper. There is a badge for the shower and the entrance/exit. We were initially confused by the badge for the shower, but it makes sense as the sanitary facilities are located directly in front of the reception, almost outside the campsite. This way, no unauthorized persons can rinse the sand off their skin. Large playground and various swimming pools. The mini golf course was not in operation. You can take the pizzas with you. They were large and good. (too big), the menu of the small restaurant looks good. Bread can be ordered, eggs and other snacks can be bought at reception. Supermarkets are about 6 km away in les Pieux. At low tide there is a huge, beautiful sandy beach where the dogs can really let off steam. Signs were put up while we were there. They were still covered and had no validity, I hope it is not a dog ban on the beach. A place to come back to, although we were initially bothered by the many mobile homes and the sanitary facilities in front of the reception. You can find a spot on the beach even in high season. The beach is guarded by lifeguards. The ground in the pitches is usually very sandy. We had one of the two pitches right on the beach. Very suitable for dog owners. No one minds if you go to the beach with your dog - no wonder,... the beach is very spacious. There are no separate sanitary facilities for men and women. In low season no nuisance by animation or similar.From the adjacent "Ranchgehäge" you hear little noise.ManyDeutsche u. Dutch are... there with many dogs that do not bark! A walk to Le Rozel should make all who want to see a pretty little French village. Bread rolls are available on site, but you have to drive a little further for groceries. The beach is huge, sandy and the rocks only come out at low tide. You can set off on hikes in both directions directly from the campsite and don't have to drive anywhere. We hiked all the beach sections from there to Cherbourg... or Barfleur, excursions to Mont St. Michel, but also in the other direction to the D-Day beach sections can be reached without much effort. The site itself is small, has two swimming pools, one outside, one covered and several slides. There is a store, a restaurant, a fitness trail, playgrounds for the children and the nearest supermarkets are within easy reach (Les Pieux). The sanitary facilities are well maintained, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant serves really good food. - Iris V.June 2010Although this campsite is "only" rated with 3 French stars, it offers everything that is important. It is a very friendly, informal campsite where only French is spoken. However, they are very patient and also help "non-French" people with their hands and feet if necessary, at least with a smile on their... faces. The couple who run the place are always keen to please. You should also not be afraid to contact reception with any tour requests (e.g. to Jersey), as they take care of guests' needs in a similar way to a tourist information office. The swimming pool and water slide are clean and sheltered from the wind. The sanitary facilities are used by both sexes. However, those who don't mind will find the facilities clean. The sauna is new and equipped with a radio, a relaxing place for couples on colder days/evenings. The food in the restaurant is simple and good. The service is very friendly. The wash house is generously and cleanly equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers, hand wash basins and sinks. There is a new children's playground and an interesting mini-golf course right next to the campsite. The distance to the beach is between 20 and 100 m. The pitch is laid out in terraces on grass. You should bear in mind that you should secure your awning against the wind on the higher pitches, at least in the low season. However, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view over the dyke to the sea. The site is secluded in the middle of nature (meadows, beach, cliffs). The nearest village (population approx. 200) is 2.5 km away, the nearest large shopping facility 7 km. Kiosk with essentials and daily fresh baguette, croissant and chocolate croissant at reception.
