A wonderfully peaceful, clean campground with spacious sites
We spent three wonderful weeks at Camping Vredenhoef in the summer of 2026 and really enjoyed our stay there. It’s a beautiful campground with spacious, large sites. Each site has 16A power and its own water hookup, which is very convenient.

The restrooms may be a bit outdated, but they stay clean as... long as all campground guests do their part and leave them tidy after use. Cleaning could be stepped up a bit during peak season, though.

The campground is wonderfully quiet; you’re hardly bothered by traffic from the road. Additionally, Camping Vredenhoef is conveniently located near the beach and Neeltje Jans. It’s therefore an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of Zeeland.

In short: a lovely, peaceful campground with spacious sites and good amenities in a beautiful location! We thoroughly enjoyed our three-week stay here and will definitely be back next year—if there’s room for us!

Located directly on the beach, just a short walk up the dunes. Super clean, super friendly, nice and quiet location.

You need a car or bicycle if you want to go on excursions
Always our favorite place for years
The campsite has been a favorite vacation destination for us for years. The site is right on the beautiful beach, dogs are welcome, the chalets are clean and the owner is always friendly and helpful. We can go on lovely bike rides from there, go for walks and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is a playground... for children and in Vrouwenpolder there are plenty of leisure activities such as horse riding at Han Wattel, shopping etc.
Everything is very clean and nicely furnished.

beautifully situated place, very well maintained, short distance to the very well maintained beach (about 150m), very nice and polite owners who are very concerned about the safety of the guests, actually quiet but with west wind you can hear the vehicle noise of the highway,
