The pitch offers everything you need. Electricity, toilet, shower, supply and disposal facilities, everything is there. The pitches are big enough to extend the awning and the... proximity to the Technik-Museum makes for big eyes when you look at the Boeing 747. And Speyer also offers plenty of culinary and cultural variety. We paid the prices mentioned for a motorhome including 2 people per night during our visit. Toilets, showers, dishwashing room, pitches not too small, electricity and gray water and cassette emptying possible. 5 minutes to the great Technik Museeum and 15 minutes to the city center of Speyer. Right next door is a medium-sized airfield. Sport airplanes fly over the pitch to land. From time to time you can hear the clearly audible take-off noises of a jet plane. It didn't bother me and I rather liked it. But it's quiet at night. No 5 star facilities, but a good 3 1/2 stars. But the price is "6 stars". P.S. - 30 minutes further on is the Technik Museeum in Sinsheim. There is also a parking lot with 34 spaces (Speyer has 100). It takes 10 minutes by S-Bahn to get to the Technik Museeum. I wish you lots of fun and great amazement in the technology museums. They are really great and impressive.NegatiivisetMaybe someone is bothered by the airfield right next door. It is an ideal starting point for the Museum of Technology in the neighborhood, especially as there is a discount on admission prices.
The famous cathedral, the old town and the Rheinaue are also within walking distance....
The site is simple and tidy, and the sanitary facilities have always been clean. Bread roll service is provided by the adjoining hotel. The staff there are very friendly.
Price is okay, as water and electricity are included.

The town of Speyer with its cathedral, churches and city center is also just a few minutes' walk away. The sanitary facilities were always in good condition during our stay. There is a bread roll service, but... we did not make use of it. Departure until 3 pm. The airport did not bother us. This used to be better solved. If we had been informed of this by the staff when we checked in, we would have looked for another place. The waste water disposal offered consists of simply letting it run into the ground at the pitch! It must be made clear that this is a parking area for caravans and motorhomes, so it is more of a caravan site than a campsite. Visitors' expectations should be in line with this - the site is... primarily for visiting the city of Speyer and the adjacent Museum of Technology. You are unlikely to spend a relaxing vacation there. However, this should not detract from the site, but only protect against exaggerated expectations. The pitches are level, grassy and well-kept. For a price of 22 euros, you can stay a whole night, no matter how many people/children, including pets, visit the site. Electricity and hot showers are included in the price, so don't forget that. The old town of Speyer is about 10 minutes' walk away, and the Museum of Technology is practically next door. When booking the pitch, you will receive discount vouchers for the Museum of Technology on request at the latest. We were thrilled by the Museum of Technology, as was our 13-year-old daughter. It is simply worth seeing and you can crawl inside many of the exhibits (trains, airplanes, submarines, ships, etc., etc.). The town itself is also worth a visit! Back at the campsite, you can use the showers, which are always clean, and the rest of the sanitary facilities are well-maintained, but certainly a little undersized with -2 men's toilets when the campsite is at full capacity. There should be -4 WCs for the ladies. The fact that you can't empty your chemical toilet has already been mentioned several times and is unfortunately still the case.
