"Een zeer aangename camping midden in de natuur - Mijn verblijf op camping La Grande Tortue was een onvergetelijke ervaring. Zodra ik aankwam, was ik onder de indruk van het warme welkom van het campingteam. Hun vriendelijkheid en professionaliteit stelde mij en mijn gezin meteen op hun gemak. De kampeerplaatsen waren ruim, schaduwrijk en goed onderhouden en boden veel privacy. De sanitaire voorzieningen waren schoon en modern, wat ons verblijf een stuk aangenamer maakte. Het zwembad op de camping was een echt hoogtepunt, ideaal om af te koelen na een dag de omgeving te hebben verkend. De kinderanimatie was gevarieerd en goed georganiseerd, zodat onze kleintjes zich goed vermaakten en veilig waren. De ligging van de camping is perfect om de schoonheid van de Loirevallei te ontdekken. De kastelen in de regio zijn gemakkelijk met de auto te bereiken en het omringende landschap is adembenemend. Kortom, La Grande Tortue heeft het allemaal: vriendelijk personeel, goede faciliteiten, een prachtig zwembad en een strategische ligging om de Loirevallei te verkennen. We vertrokken verrukt en willen graag terug.

"Ideal place to visit the Loire castles - Beautiful site, mostly under trees. Pitches are large enough. Sanitary was OK and clean. All the staff are very friendly. The mini-supermarket has what you need, but is expensive. Swimming pool area and playground are very nice. You can buy tickets for the castles at the reception with a discount and thus avoid the queues at the ticket offices directly at the castles.

"Very nice well maintained place - We were only passing through for 2 nights (pre-booked and reserved as it was peak season) but felt very comfortable. It started with the friendly welcome on arrival. Everywhere on the site you could see from the many little things (sculptures and flowers) that someone had put a lot of effort into maintaining and beautifying the place. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained, as was the whole site. We didn't try the campsite's own restaurant, as we found the prices charged to be quite excessive. The mini store has everything you need for breakfast or a quick bite.

Whether you are a fan of mobile homes, chalets or unusual accommodation, you will be spoilt for choice when you stay at our campsite near Blois. Whatever you choose, our rental accommodation is fully equipped and has a private terrace to offer you all the comfort of a campsite in Blois. So it's up to you to decide whether you prefer unusual accommodation in the Loire castles or a mobile home rental in Loir-et-Cher! For your next holiday, enjoy the exceptional location of a campsite on the banks of the Loire (800 metres from the campsite)! Our 5-star establishment near Blois offers a wide range of leisure and sports activities for all ages. You will have at your disposal: a water area with slides, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a multisport field, a bowling alley and table tennis tables. There are also numerous games for children: a rope pyramid, a zip line, a play structure that is addictive and 3 trampolines, as well as a multi-sports field that is popular with teenagers. The little ones love our large bouncy castle. Toddlers can play in complete safety in the fenced play area for children under 6 years of age. We also offer a bicycle hire service. There is a restaurant on site where you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere or enjoy an ice cream or a drink on the terrace. The restaurant also offers breakfast, half board (only in low season) and takeaway meals (e.g. pizza). Local products and fresh bread every day are available in the shop.
