- Verena D.September 2024PositiivisetThe proximity to the beach is unbeatableNegatiivisetEverything else. Power connections too far away. Thank goodness we had a 30m cable reel with us, otherwise there would have been no electricity. Likewise the fresh water station. Some of the sanitary facilities too far away. Cleanliness was okay. However, the showers did not always work properly. The debiting of the shower card is also questionable. Once you put a cent on it, it was debited directly, although no water was running at all. One day we showered for 2 minutes, 1€ gone. The other day also showered for 2 minutes, 3€ gone ?! The friendliness of the cleaning staff also left a lot to be desired. You were no longer allowed to enter the sanitary facilities and had to leave as soon as the cleaner arrived. However, the times were always different, so you couldn't follow them. Even my three-year-old son was no longer allowed to go to the toilet. Sorry, but that's where it ends for me!!!! Bicycle stations too far away. We had to walk almost 30 minutes to reach one. WLAN - not available. No playgrounds in the Kiefernwäldchen area The sidewalks on the promenade were folded up at 6 pm, despite the high season.WellConclusion: Once and never again!
Too expensive overall!
Not up to date!
Rather unsuitable for children under 5Käännetty automaattisesti. - Peter B.August 2024Positiiviset- Direct location on the fine sandy beach - Sanitary facilities always very clean (section "Erlengrund") - Large pitch - Electricity project - Very friendly staff - Playground directly on the beach - Bread roll serviceNegatiiviset- Place for emptying gray water is a bit inconvenient or stupid to reach - No (!) telephone/internet reception (Vodafone; better with Telekom) - Playground(s) could be much more extensive/beautiful (forest connection offers super great opportunities here) - Traffic along the main road (on which a large part of the pitches are directly adjacent) very fast (walking speed would be better) - Bread roll service only payable in cash (no digitalization; in Denmark/Sweden I didn't have to pay anything in cash anywhere...)August 2024We stayed there for two nights with our motorhome and our two children. The site is huge and stretches along the main road, parallel to the beach. The speed limit here is 30km/h, but this is rarely adhered to. This is a bit annoying/unnecessary with children. The biggest plus point is of course the immediate... proximity to the beautiful sandy beach, which is just a few steps away from almost every pitch. Otherwise, the campsite is quite lively compared to other campsites. Apart from the beach, the facilities for children on the site itself are very limited. However, Karls Erlebnishof is easily accessible by bike. Bicycles (including cargo bikes) can be hired.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- No R.April 2024PositiivisetCould not test itNegatiivisetUnjustly withheld down paymentPityIt's a real shame, but we couldn't go on our vacation because our mother had a stroke and was hospitalized. Despite this event, the campsite insisted on withholding the deposit. What did we get in return? None. They confirmed that there were no cancellation costs. Now the question is, what is the retained... deposit for? There were no costs or ? Actually a cheek, especially since it was still outside the main season. Too bad, more reputable campsites are more customer-friendly here.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Katrin R.August 2023PositiivisetUncomplicated booking with easy check-in and check-out, wonderful beach, good sanitary facilities, vehicle recognition, bread roll service by mobile bakersNegatiivisetNo walking speed on the access roads, few laundry rooms, ground for tents very firm (pegs for securing were hardly installable)Quite niceOn the whole, we felt very comfortable at Buchenhain. As the campsite is very long, it is better to arrive with a bike or e-scooter, depending on where you are placed. The visitor's tax is quite high and is compulsory, although we weren't asked about it once.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Romy T.July 2023PositiivisetClose to the Erlengrund beachNegatiivisetBus and train tickets charged via the visitor's tax. Age limit lowered, i.e. from the age of 6, children pay the adult price. There should be a choice here. It is very dark on the paths in Erlengrund in the evening, especially at the edge. There are only a few lanterns on. Several stores and restaurants on the promenade have disappeared. The former flair is no longer there. There are also too few water connections.Quality declining sharply at sharply increased pricesWe have been vacationing in Ückeritz since 2015 because the atmosphere here was inviting, even for our children. This year, however, we were shocked by the high visitor's tax imposed, which includes tickets for the bus and train. Regardless of whether you use them or not. Of course, the parking space... is also more expensive again. However, there have been no renovations. The promenade has become really dull and dreary. The children's playground is not very inviting. The site scores points for its proximity to the beach. We are disappointed. A lot of money for less flair.
Oh, and bread roll price for 1 roll with beetroot or spinach flavor 2,39 € 🤢. That's extortionate.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Dietmar L.July 2023PositiivisetThe beach is very close to the campsite and is also clean. You can spend a few hours here.NegatiivisetFar too expensive for the "Acker". Not recommended for campers looking for peace and quiet. With us - from 7 nights on three nights beach party until after 01:00 o'clock in the night. Unfortunately you can hear it from the beach to the pitch. The access road runs alongside the pitches. Unfortunately, no walking speed is prescribed here. The prescribed maximum speed (30 km/h) is almost never adhered to (and that on a campsite). Sanitary area 1 is not recommended. Defective toilets and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There is no shade in the middle area of the pitches at the Waldschänke. The trees are still too small. The lanterns are lit at full intensity throughout the night. Dimming is not possible and motion detectors are not even an option. The flat-rate electricity charge is equivalent to what a two-person household consumes in 1/2 month. Decidedly too high for one week! Waste separation (except for glass) plays no role at all here. Unfortunately, we got the impression that campers with tents are not necessarily welcome. Motorhomes and caravans are clearly in the majority here. Their pitches are mostly in the shade.Far too expensive for the pitch we found!Unfortunately, there is not much positive to report.
Overall far too expensive if you look at the place as a whole.
On three nights (out of 7 nights on the pitch) beach party until after 01.00 in the night which unfortunately could also be heard on the pitch.
Sanitary area 1 not recommended. Toilets... defective and mostly not sufficiently cleaned.
In the sanitary area (for the ladies) two showers could not be used.
No shade possible in the middle area of the pitches at the Waldschänke. The trees are still too small. The lanterns are lit at full intensity all night long. Dimming is not possible and motion detectors are not even an option.
The flat-rate electricity charge is equivalent to what a two-person household consumes in 1/2 month. Decidedly too high for one week!
Waste separation (except for glass) plays no role at all here.

The electricity flat rate is the same as a two-person household uses in 1/2 month. Decidedly too high for one week!Käännetty automaattisesti. - H. L.May 2023PositiivisetThe proximity to the beach and the new sanitary building are the only positive things in the Erlengrund area.NegatiivisetToo expensive for the field. Space no longer up to date.Quality decreases extremelyWe have been coming to Ückeritz for several years, sometimes several times a year. I have to say that the Erlengrund area is getting worse and worse. This area used to be the flagship of the campsite. The children's playground is unkempt and does not invite children to play. The hedges that were used... to enclose the individual plots have been removed. Where there used to be grass, there are now only weeds.
A major drawback is the lack of free WiFi on the entire site, which is unfortunately only available in the reception area. This is definitely no longer up to date. The access roads in the Erlengrund are under water after rain and this does not run off due to the lack of underground drainage. Each plot also lacks its own electricity/water and sewage connection. This would definitely be a quality plus and would justify the high prices.
When a municipal employee crossed our path, he didn't look particularly motivated (must be due to the employer). A pity really.
The private retailers and restaurateurs do their best, and the municipality should take a leaf out of their book.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Meinrad F.April 2023PositiivisetQuiet location close to nature and the beach clean sanitary facilitiesNegatiivisetsee textGreat campsite! Our good impression of the campsite began at check-in: plenty of parking spaces in front of reception and a very friendly receptionist (@Anke Räsch: thanks for that). Our pitch in the Erlengrund area fully met our expectations; close to nature and the beach, cafés and restaurants within easy walking... distance. Compliments to the service staff in the sanitary area, the washrooms and toilets were well heated and always tip-top. Great!
Due to a small organizational error, we had to change our pitch after two days, but we got a replacement of the same quality. It was a pity that the (young red-haired) groundsman thought he had to resort to the tone of a GDR VoPo. However, this did not detract from our good overall impression of the campsite.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Sina-Katharina K.September 2022PositiivisetRight by the sea with a great forestNegatiiviset-Great campsiteA great campsite with lots of nature around it. There are lots of large showers with very hot water. The toilets were cleaned regularly.
I particularly liked the barrier that recognizes my license plate and then opens.
I was here by chance, via the Campcanis event, but will definitely be back.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Daniela S.August 2022PositiivisetThe location in the forest, clean and very modern sanitary facilities, the absolute proximity to the beach is a huge plus pointNegatiivisetPartly too long a walk to the sanitary facilities, bread service totally overpriced, unfriendly staff. Beach access very difficult to walk on as there are no slabs or rubber mats. This is only available at the main entrance on the promenade. Departure should be possible at the same time as arrival, other campsites offer this.Only conditionally recommendableWe have been going here for many years, unfortunately this year the staff at reception were very unfriendly. Other years we couldn't complain about it, the staff was a bit older, the young lady probably didn't want to deal with vacationers that day. But we will definitely be back.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Bärbel S.July 2022PositiivisetThe only thing I liked there was the beach.NegatiivisetThe pitch, especially at Erlengrund, is getting worse and worse. Every time it rains, the individual pitches and access roads are under water. Hedges have been removed from the individual pitches. Looks like a field, no grass only weeds. It used to be a beautiful place, but every year it gets worse and more expensive. We have been spending our vacation there for more than 10 years. In the beginning it was a nice campsite, but the sanitary facilities were not good enough, although there were alternatives.
From year to year the place got worse. Nothing was done to the individual pitches, so that puddles formed which... filled up when it rained and the awning was under water, and the access roads were always under water.
This year we couldn't believe our eyes, all the hedges surrounding the individual pitches had been removed. It looked like a field parking lot, with the individual pitches marked with road marker posts. However, nothing was done to the pitches, so that we were flooded again this year when it rained. The pitches are getting more and more expensive and the quality is getting worse and worse. Every little corner of the Erlengrund was used as a pitch, even in the waste disposal area, which is actually unreasonable. The Erlengrund was totally overcrowded. It seemed to me as if the campsite was only being used by the municipality as a quick source of money, but they no longer wanted to invest anything.
Our friends of many years are and were of the same opinion and, like us, will turn their backs on this campsite.
We can no longer recommend this campsite as a vacation and recreation site and the associated prices.
One more remark, the staff at the reception leaves a lot to be desired. There are still some nice people (older staff) but the rest are rude to the visitors.
We for us will turn our backs on the place, vacation on the field is cheaper.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Monika M.June 2022PositiivisetProximity to the beach thats that! Staff very friendly!NegatiivisetSanitary facilities are far too few and too far away.Below the averageI'm just saying Germany is a service desert!!!!! People really now!!! The place does not deserve 3 stars, but prices of a 5 star place!!!!
1. power connections are much too far apart!!! Thank God we have 35m cable with us.
2. sanitary facilities too far from the pitch!!! You shouldn't be in a hurry!!!!!...
3. pitches are sometimes so uneven that it is difficult to stand up straight!!!
4. dog owners let their dogs pee on other people's pitches, not acceptable!!!
We were here for the first and last time!!!Käännetty automaattisesti. - Holger S.December 2021PositiivisetThe proximity to the beachNegatiivisetThe Erlengrund area is hardly usable!!! Sanitary facilities were not cleaned often or not at all! What on earth have they done to the campsite? We, wife, husband and dog were on the site in the Erlengrund area from 27.12.2021 to 03.01.2022. We've been here before and have always loved it. But now the disappointment on 27.12.2021. We couldn't believe our eyes. The Erlengrund area was covered in snow, which wasn't bad, but the hedges used to mark... out the pitches had disappeared. We were taken aback when we were told at reception that we should stay in the front area, as the pitch had been filled with sand and the rear pitches could "sink" if there was a thaw! Ok, we positioned ourselves in the front area and it happened as we were told. The thaw set in and you could see more and more that this beautiful pitch was (previously) hardly usable. The pitch was filled with loamy black earth. This earth had not even been properly leveled and a muddy subsoil was forming, which made the pitch look dirty. The paved paths between the pitches were also broken and difficult to use
Getting to the sanitary facilities on foot was difficult. Then the sanitary facilities themselves were a disaster. Only the rear (older) area was open. There were only 3 showers open for the 50 or so pitches and 2 toilet cubicles in the men's area. What was really disgusting was that the kitchen sink area was in the men's toilet area, so it happened again and again that women went to wash up and they could see the men standing at the urinal as they walked past. This was really unpleasant. The sanitary facilities were also not cleaned properly. The garbage cans were overflowing, the toilet paper had been used up and the floors were extremely dirty! You could see from this that this area was not cleaned at all from the New Year onwards, which was more than questionable, especially in times of Corona. -DisappointedKäännetty automaattisesti. - Ellen H.September 2021PositiivisetA wonderfully beautiful campsite, relaxing, well-kept, not a long way to the sea. Sanitary facilities top and the friendliness of the staff 👍👍👍👍 of course a big compliment to the bakery car with the fresh bread rolls every morning 🖐️😀NegatiivisetIt would be nicer if each person was given a card for the sanitary facilities. I found shower tokens better, for the sake of an overviewVacationWe felt very comfortable and have already booked for next year.☀️🏊🏖️Käännetty automaattisesti.
- René W.August 2021PositiivisetI liked the nature, the location and creation is very beautiful.NegatiivisetService, sanitary areaShocked Amazed and stunnedThe price is not justified for the miserable condition of the site. According to the information signs, the sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. Then it shouldn't be so moldy and unclean.
The reception staff are very unfriendly and not on the ball. They are busy with everything but their guests, who are ignored or shouted at.
I will certainly come back to see if anything has changed.Käännetty automaattisesti. - Rainer M.June 2021PositiivisetLocation of the squareNegatiivisetPower connections no longer up to date Laundry housesCamper MKIt is a nice place but the price-performance ratio does not fit. It was always quiet at night during our stayNegatiivisetThe pitches are too small and cannot be used well due to their layout. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves a lot to be desired and there are too few pitches.Room for improvementA great place in itself, but at 6.30 p.m. the sidewalks are folded up.
