- Karla F.July 2021PositiivisetThat we were allowed to choose a place without complicationsNegatiivisetLoud, old, unventilated (smells nice when brushing your teeth) sanitary facilities, hygiene (especially because of Corona), rude, cheeky, cheeky, not many parking spaces at the lakeA night with Helene Fischer! After the rather rough registration process, we were able to choose a pitch. The allocated pitch was dark, damp and clammy. We decided to spend the night at the back of the campsite. It was actually quite nice until the music started in the evening. I guess there are a lot of party people there during... the vacations. Depending on your taste in music, you would certainly have enjoyed it, we were tired at some point and had Helene in our tent until 01:00. The sanitary facilities are tiny, poorly ventilated, old, not clean and when brushing your teeth you have smells in your nose. I stuck the waste bin liner in the door so that a little air could get in from outside. It's not always the same people on a campsite, but the atmosphere was bad. I travel a lot with a camper van or tent and have never been in such a bad mood and never been so happy to leave a campsite. Very important for dog owners: dogs are completely forbidden.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Erwin L.July 2018PositiivisetYou have one overnight stay.NegatiivisetAttention Friday arrivals! No reception from 19:00. No shower tokens. No ordering of bread rolls. No gas bottle exchange.Completely overrated, no longer recommended today.Sanitary facilities very worn, take a look in the corners! Other sanitary buildings typical of the GDR no longer up to date. Staff very unfriendly and thirsty. Site manager: he has no love for camping, just comes once a week to collect money. If you ask for a chat he says "I'm responsible for the garbage... today" and leaves you standing there. Only the promenade part and the short camper place are partly maintained. The other "campsites" mentioned are not shiny and need a lot of care. Water points are there, but they are equipped with low-flow taps, which is totally lousy. The reception is partly rebuilt as a snack bar (the forgetting side windows of the snack bar are not exactly hygienic) by the reception employee whose relative is the best coffee drinker there and increases the turnover. The whole place needs a general overhaul, what a pity.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Maik S.June 2017Completely overratedCompletely unsuitable for camping !!!! Bad paths ! Unclean place ! Unfriendly staff ! Very noisy! No activities to do !Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Jörg K.August 2016PositiivisetQuiet locationNegatiivisetOutdated sanitary facilitiesQuiet for simple requirementsFriendly welcome, the place is confusing and connected with very long paths, we could only use the sanitary facilities from GDR times, which took some effort and the smell around the facility was repulsive. The lake is endlessly shallow and you need a bit of stamina to get to swimming depth, but the water quality is great and ideal for small children. We still felt comfortable, but made more use of the bath in our own caravan.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Dirk C.July 2016Simple spaceThe staff are very friendly and there is a nice swimming area by the lake. Our pitch for the tent was a natural area with some sparse grass. There are two sanitary facilities on the site. A new building with good facilities and one from the GDR era with external terrazo washbasins. Both facilities were clean.Käännetty automaattisesti.

- Dagmar B.July 2015PositiivisetCleaning the pitch would be a very good advantage for those who want to make themselves comfortable there.NegatiivisetOutdated sanitary facilities and unclean pitch. The lake is very beautiful, unfortunately we had a dirty pitchWe were right next to the bungalows and can only rate this pitch, it was really unclean. We are non-smokers and there were thousands of stubbed out butts everywhere. There was paper and leftover food on the bushes. Not for those who have small children, it is very dangerous if they put them in their... mouths. The sanitary facilities are old, dark and smelly. We had to wash ourselves in our caravan. 20.50 per night is far too much for this dirty pitch and sanitary facilities. We were 2 adults with car and caravan and only stayed there one night. When we said at reception that it was a bit expensive we were told "if we don't like it we can stay somewhere else we don't have to stay here". I don't think this is a professional response.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Armin R.June 2015PositiivisetRestSimple place right on the waterSimple campsite directly on Lake Parstein, ideal for swimming, cycling and hiking. No internet, but pure nature. The sanitary facilities were sufficient during our stay, but could be very scarce in high season.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Julia Z.May 2015PositiivisetSanitary facilities clean and warmNegatiivisetUnfortunately no dogs allowedSuper men's dayYes, it was cold in the tent, so what! We had a lot of fun there. Everyone was very friendly. We all had a lot of fun there. We'll definitely be back, but only when the nights are a bit warmer ;-)Käännetty automaattisesti.
- laura h.August 2014PositiivisetSuper swimming lake. Great snack bar, very suitable for familiesNegatiivisetBad restaurant, dog banMy vacationI've been to Parsteinsee several times and really love it there. Regarding the comment that the bread rolls from the kiosk are old and not good, I can only say THAT'S NOT TRUE! The rolls I ordered were really good. I also ordered rolls in the restaurant once, which I really regretted. I had to wait a... very long time and they didn't taste good either. I also attended the summer party at the snack bar and was really impressed by the great atmosphere. The food at the snack bar was super good and reasonably priced and the two ladies were always friendly and nice despite the long queue. I can only recommend the snack bar. I was very disappointed with the restaurant, the food was only lukewarm and didn't taste good.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Katja P.August 2014PositiivisetGreat swimming lake, bike rental available, diving center and sailing club on site, good restaurant, great and friendly registrationNegatiivisetShopping facilities almost completely missing, outdated (partly run-down) sanitary facilities, dilapidated paths & benches, everything very run-downA bland aftertaste remains,We actually spent a nice weekend there, BUT! Unfortunately, we weren't told that there was a huge party with loud music at the snack bar that weekend, so of course we didn't want it to be ours. But what the heck, it's not like that every weekend. What is always the case, however, are the catastrophic... shopping facilities on site, because there is nothing, almost nothing. When we registered, the really friendly lady at the administration desk told us about the bread rolls from the kiosk, and we ordered them there on the first day. One too many, if you ask me, we got dry old air rolls at expensive prices, otherwise the kiosk doesn't really have anything on offer, so make sure you get your own. Even better, however, is the fact that the kiosk was completely closed from 10am to 1pm, in the afternoon everyone who was thirsty for shots, beer and the like met there, not exactly a figurehead for the place. In the evening in the restaurant we found out that we could also order bread rolls there, which we did. I can't understand why the lady so demonstratively ignored the possibility of buying bread rolls here too, the bread rolls in the restaurant were really delicious, crispy, fresh and above all warm, highly recommended, the restaurant offers good home cooking, in short, delicious. What you really can't say about some of the sanitary facilities. One house was completely locked when we walked across the square, the next one on the way back was so dilapidated that you didn't even want to pee, not to mention the stench! The one behind the playground was completely overrun, but ok, even if a thorough cleaning looks different! In short, they really need to catch up here, I really can't understand some of the permanent campers! The paths are also very dilapidated and one pothole follows another, the bathing meadow had been mown but the old grass had simply been left lying around. Basically, the first impression is confirmed, the site could be much better if the owner wanted to, but he doesn't want to, at least that's what this site tells us. Talking to some permanent campers, we learned that the site was only taken over by a private owner a few years ago and since then everything has just been run down and I have to say, unfortunately, that's what the site looks like. One last thing, as there is always a question mark over dogs, dogs and cats are not allowed on this campsite, no matter where!Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Katrin M.July 2014PositiivisetClear water lake shallow entrance Bread roll service nice receptionist electricity connection good price-performance ratioNegatiivisetfew/distant shopping facilities Mosquitoes :-)Have a nice weekendWe went to Lake Parstein with our two small children over a long weekend. Lake Parstein is perfect for families with small (and of course older) children, as the entrance to the lake is very shallow for a long time and the playground is great for the little ones to play and run around. I can't understand... the criticism of the service and reception. We called on Wednesday evening around 6 pm and told them that we wanted to arrive the following day at 6 pm. That was no problem at all! Even when we arrived more than 30 minutes late, the lady at reception waited for us even though she had already finished work. By the way, the reception is open daily from 9am to 6pm - or even longer on sunny days :-) The lady was kind enough to call the owner of the kiosk to order some sandwiches for us. It's true about the lunch break, but it's only from 1pm to 2pm and we were told this when we arrived. (I think you can cope with an extra hour at this beautiful lake :-)) The important part: As we had two small boys with us, the lady at reception allocated us a shady spot right by the lake. The sanitary buildings were ok, I think we have rarely found a 5-star sanitary building on a 3-star campsite :-) It was perfectly fine for showering etc.! If you want to stay longer, you should go shopping beforehand, as the kiosk doesn't have that much choice apart from bread rolls and Nutella. The nearest shopping facilities are in Oderberg, about 10 km from Parstein. We will definitely be going back to Lake Parstein, the children were super happy and we simply had a relaxing time.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Klaas K.June 2011We spent a nice weekend here by the lake, very relaxing in a great landscape. The lake in particular is great. It's ideal for children who can already swim a little, because it goes in relatively shallow for a long time - even children can stand there. And the water is very clear. The campsite as such... is ok, the showers and toilets for ladies in the central sanitary building were quite clean despite the large crowds. However, the men reported the opposite for their part of the facility. There is also a deduction for the coin-operated showers. The hill for the tents (category 3) really is a hill, so there are only a few flat pitches and just as little shade. However, there are nice and shady pitches in the other tent areas. During our visit, the tent hill was not particularly busy - if there is still a lot going on, it is a mystery to me how the sanitary building is supposed to cope with it all. The bread roll service also worked well on the holiday. The site is quite long and there are areas for permanent campers at both ends, each with its own sanitary building. It was quite a long way to get there, so we didn't test them.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Susanne E.July 2010We were on this site with our children, and it is beautiful in itself, quiet, clean water, nice playground. However, the sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. We had a particularly negative impression of the opening hours of the registration/reception. Nobody is there at lunchtime, the operator... is on site but not responsible for anything at lunchtime. Unfortunately, we were not informed on arrival that the site would be locked between 1pm and 3pm. When we left on Sunday, we had to wait for an hour in front of the locked barrier, although the tenant was sitting right next to it. Of course there was no sign either! Unfortunately, service is written very small on this site! Another piece of information for campers: The restaurant at Parsteiner See is not recommended, you can prepare frozen food yourself at home, and it is far too expensive for the quality.Käännetty automaattisesti.
