Bernd Josef H.August 2024PositiivisetLocation, pitches, nice playground and football pitch, only 5 minutes to the sea, great cycle paths through the dunes directly from the site, ideal for families, operators very nice, access via vehicle license platesNegatiivisetToo few toilets and showers/washing facilities during high season, unfortunately the restaurant no longer exists and there is no bar or food.Great for children and ideally located behind the dunesWe were at the beginning of August 2024 with 5 people on 2 pitches on the campsite, the booking works very well online including pitch selection, but also with questions and wishes is helped very well by phone. The site is located almost directly in the beautiful dunes of Julianadorp about 5 to 8 minutes... walk to the sea. There are nice beach pavilions for food and drinks.
In the past there was a restaurant and pub on the site, but unfortunately this is now closed. The pitches are separate for motorhomes and other campers. They are spacious, the ground conditions are ideal, no dirt when it rains. The whole campsite is run by professionals, apart from the number of toilets and washing areas, everything is just right. As we have all our supplies in the motorhome, this is not a problem. The toilets are well maintained and clean.
The site is ideal for children, great playground Fundas Meer in the immediate vicinity.

But this year was definitely the last time.
For the first time we had a seasonal pitch from 31.03.-16.10. although we were promised an annual pitch.
Then, in the middle of the season (early July), the erection of mobile fences was suddenly prohibited.
Without... this we would never have booked here.
Also only 2 dogs were suddenly allowed, we were allowed a third dog as a gesture of goodwill until the end of the season.
This is no way to treat customers.
I can also only confirm the unfriendliness of the groundsman.
Showers were also shortened from 6 to 5 minutes.
No waste water at the pitch, although they advertise as a luxury pitch.
Very poor WLAN.
Hardly any satellite reception on the outside pitches.
No snack bar since this year.
But prices increased.
So, for us never again this place.

The campground is well organized without much fuss. Bread service was also available. The location near the sea is also nice.

The reception is very friendly and the sanitary facilities are always clean. As the campsite is surrounded by a vacation hotel, it is always a little restless, but that didn't bother us. You can eat well and cheaply in the small snack bar on site. The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are super clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. There is currently no bread roll service, but there... are two washing machines, which was important to us as we had already been traveling for 14 days and discussions were the order of the day at other campsites with only one machine. Almost perfect...We (2 adults, 1 dog - traveling without a child for once...) are in North Holland and at this campsite for the first time and are simply thrilled! Very, very nice campsite operators/owners, the pitches are nice and large (extra tent and car fit comfortably on them), all have their own water connection... and 10 amp electricity connection. There is also free wifi near the reception and wifi on the pitch for a fee. The new sanitary building is super clean. It is cleaned at lunchtime and in the evening by its own operators/owners (you can tell by the thoroughness). At night it is locked from 11 pm (until 7 am), but there are outdoor toilets and an outdoor shower (just as clean). There is a family shower and a children's bathroom (with baby bath), a children's toilet, 4 washing-up areas and a dog shower. A spacious playground with a large climbing frame, a beach volleyball court, a soccer pitch, a table tennis table and a jeu de boules field ensure that the children never get bored. Incidentally, there were quite a lot of German children (between 2 and 12) on the site during our stay... (we have experienced this differently on other campsites in recent years and our son didn't have a single playmate). Washing machines and dryers (for a fee) are also available. The only thing missing here is a small supermarket or kiosk where you could buy bread rolls and/or a newspaper in the morning - then the site would really be perfect! The spacious, very clean beach with almost white sand is only 5 - 10 minutes away (depending on your fitness level). You only need to cross the road and the dune. There is a somewhat more exclusive beach pavilion on the beach (Paal 6, open all year round) where you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine and/or a delicious steak. Wonderful! There's also a snack bar there during the day (for ice cream, chips, frikandel and more). You can also hire a windbreak, parasol and sun loungers there for a fee... Aldi Nord, Lidl, Blokker and a small shopping center with a handful of stores can be found about 2-3 km away in the town center. The neighboring village of Callantsoog (approx. 8 km away) is a little more "touristy". There you can take a nice stroll and from the simple fish stall, ice cream parlor, cafe's and restaurant you will find almost everything your heart or stomach desires ... (our tip is the restaurant "Dorpszicht") Conclusion: For families with children, camping with a dog or a quiet beach vacation it is ideal here! We will definitely be back!!!Käännetty automaattisesti.

Unfortunately I can't give full marks because the sanitary facilities are in need of renovation but clean. Unfortunately, the location is not for people of a young age as boredom quickly sets in.
