There are toilet containers all over the site where you can empty the toilet.

We were always treated friendly by the staff. In the season there is a bakery with fresh bread rolls on site, there are other shopping facilities in the village (approx. 1 km). The excursion destinations and proximity... to the lake speak for themselves. The pitches could be a little larger (approx. 60 - 70 m²) so that you are not sitting directly in the neighbor's awning.Automatski prevedeno.

Lots of permanent campers, some of which are quite "rotten". Not much for children. There are also plenty of pitches for tents. There is a bakery and a fish snack bar next door at the weekend. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were always clean. The sanitary building was always clean and fulfilled its purpose even if the equipment was a bit older. Unfortunately it was not possible to pay the bill by EC card but only in cash. Direct access to the lake, although the dog beach is tiny, but you can walk your dog through the forest right next to the site. I was able to choose my pitch and got some nice advice on which pitch has which advantages. Two small disadvantages,... you always have to carry a central key to get in everywhere and the showers unfortunately only have curtains, which is not the same as in West Germany. Sanitary and all other facilities always tip top clean, good hot water with shower coin. Perfect for excursions in the area and a day or two relaxing on the pitch.Automatski prevedeno.

We liked it very much. The sanitary facilities are very basic, but super clean at all times of the day. There are shower curtains in the showers, which is not everyone's cup of tea. Unfortunately, the facilities were pretty poor in the low season. You can tell that the site is geared towards the many permanent campers. Fresh bread rolls were only... available on Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant was closed, the only possibility to get something to eat directly on the site was the very good fish snack bar, but unfortunately this was only open from 10 am to 5 pm. We didn't starve though, our barbecue was on fire. The sanitary facilities are simple and always clean, but shower curtains are not everyone's cup of tea. The staff were friendly and the price was right. So if you bring something to eat in the low season and don't expect too much in the way of comfort and don't mind the castles, garden gnomes and flower beds of the permanent campers, this is a good place to stay.Automatski prevedeno.- Ralf G.July 2013We were looking for a campsite with good access to the water for a weekend. We "landed" at Schwarzhorn and felt very comfortable. The fact that the weather was going to be very hot did not play a role, which may be important for families. Beautiful water with space to relax was the priority. I really... like the water, and I'm particular about that. It has a slightly bluish-pebbly color, which you only really know from waters with a lot more lime in the area. The visibility under water was only about one meter, but the overall impression (including the taste) was very good. The bathing area is also used by the "locals" as it is not part of the campsite grounds and is accessible from the outside. So it was always quite busy. Families, everyone splashing around and enjoying themselves. As it was too loud for me, I got on my air mattress and went out onto the lake. You tend to have more peace and quiet on the campsite. I only had a tent for the weekend and you have to camp "on or near the hill" in the middle of the site. The whole area is covered in tall pines. There are plenty of pitches. You can't drive your car next to the tent, it has to stay in the parking lot at the entrance. Only permanent campers are allowed to have their car next to the caravan. In general, the permanent camper structures are extremely "elaborate". This seems to have become a phenomenon of the times. However, there are very nice caravan and camper pitches right in the first row in front of the beach. The sanitary facilities were perfectly adequate, clean and there were even two fridges for general beer cooling. I would go there again, so I recommend it. And that's despite the fact that on the day of my arrival I had looked at two other places I didn't know. I then decided on Schwarzhorn. Even a fridgeAutomatski prevedeno.

We had a very good rest. The only small point of criticism. It was a bit far to the showers, but a morning dip in the wonderfully calm lake makes up for the morning shower ;-) We will definitely be back!Automatski prevedeno.
