Great sanitary facilities also the new one at the fishing lakeNegativne straneSince I have only recently been affected by my wife myself and am partly dependent on disabled showers and toilets, I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the 3 pieces and these are very widely distributed.Vacation 2024It is a great campsite that we used to use again and again with our children, afterwards my wife and I also use this beautiful campsite and are actually positive only what I unfortunately have to criticize but unfortunately you only notice when you are affected by it yourself that there are simply too... few disabled showers / toilets. What really surprised me this year was the new wash house at the fishing lake this was completely rebuilt and in this modern super nice wash house no disabled shower / toilet has been considered which I find a big mistake and also can not understand especially since I assume that the operator should also know that there are unfortunately more and more people with disabilities not only old but now also younger, so I have to rate this as negative. I would be happy if the operator would at least make a change to the new wash house as there would then be at least 4 disabled showers/toilets on the whole site.Automatski prevedeno.

The place seems to be well organized. We felt comfortable. I think the mix of permanent campers and tourist pitches is successful. The pitches are big enough. However, the areas for the awning are often earthy because there is no grass. They should be paved with gravel. Paths to the pitch well developed. Pitch nice and big and sufficient. Very good mini market with good prices and a cool meat vending machine in front. Restaurant was good, staff, well, rather... unmotivated.
The Huber-Hof in Iffezheim was great, excellent regional fruit and vegetables at good prices. Offenburg, just happened to be passing by, definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, our stay was anything but relaxing.
The tent meadow is large and was always full during our stay. We had pitches Z1 and Z2, which were directly in front of the sanitary building. This proved to... be a major disadvantage. The constant through traffic, especially from flip-flop wearers, was extremely annoying and unmistakable at night. There was no peace and quiet at night, as the quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am were hardly observed. Even at 5 a.m. there were people who thought they had to do the washing up.
Another point of criticism is the pitch occupancy. In our opinion, caravans and motorhomes have no place on a tent pitch, but it was different here. The regular pitches were full, so a camper van was squeezed onto the already overcrowded tent meadow without further ado. That is not acceptable!
We would like to make a positive mention of the sanitary facilities. They were always clean and we would like to praise the cleaner of the sanitary building at the tent meadow. They definitely deserve a pay rise!
The bathing lakes at the campsite are beautiful and offer refreshing cooling in summer. However, it was annoying for us that day guests also had access. This reduced the already scarce shady spots even further. Priority should have been given to camping guests here.
The e-scooters were a major annoyance. These raced across the campsite at speeds of 20 to 25 km/h, which is completely inappropriate for safety reasons. Most motorists and cyclists kept to walking speed, only the e-scooter riders did not.
The location of the square, on the other hand, is positive. The pitches are quite large and well paved (grass). Great leisure program on and around the campsite. There are craft workshops, evening children's singing and numerous other activities. The wash houses are modern and clean. The restaurant is good and the campsite's... own supermarket is well stocked. The bakery is also excellent. You just have to like the size of the campsite. The campsite is very spacious and has larger areas for permanent campers. However, these are usually far enough away from the tourist pitches :)
There are separate pitches for fishing enthusiasts at the fishing lake.

It was great that so many cultural activities were organized for children and young people, but we didn't see anything for the older generation such as dance evenings, table tennis tournaments, book readings or similar. Hot water and showers:
Often no hot water, showers run for about 20 seconds, often dirty in the evening. Shower heads calcified; wash houses in need of renovation.
Facilities:
Dishwasher pointless without cleaning... powder. Cassette toilet cleaning machine only filled instead of emptying.
Pitches and access:
Small pitches (approx. 90 sqm), no demarcation to neighbors, narrow lanes. Everything was exploited to the maximum for maximum profit, a pity.
Electricity connection costs:
Over 4 euros for connection, plus 80 cents per kWh.
Gastronomy:
Pizzeria okay, but expensive.
Reception:
No inquiry about well-being or experiences on arrival and departure.
For dog owners:
Strict rules of conduct and dog regulations on arrival, acts as a deterrent. Commendable: Dog showers, bag dispensers, disposal facilities. No permitted water points for dogs within a 20-30 km radius.
Night's rest/night watch:
Loud parties at the quarry pond and on the site in the evening, night watch should intervene.
Price:
Over 50 euros per night for 2 people + 2 dogs in high season, too much for what is on offer.
Overall:
Visited many campsites, this one is in no way comparable. Great for children, but does not deserve 5 stars, 2-3 stars maximum. The landscape is magnificent and the leisure activities outside the campsite were great.Negativne strane-acute noise pollution -absolutely poor handling of complaints -poor children's entertainment (you can't call it children's entertainment at such a 5-star CP) -unfriendly (German) groundskeeper -no hot water for showering and washing up -too many day guests -unfriendly/incompetent staff (reception) -West sanitary building (outdated, badly in need of renovation, calcified, twisted) -comfort pitches and premium pitches very small. An imaginary path must be left free for pitches B13, B16, B17, otherwise the pitches cannot be occupied. Our neighbors had to build back the front of the pitches so that the holidaymakers could drive on their pitches. Is listed on the site plan completely incorrectly or not at all. -Soccer pitch removed from the site (motorhome pitches) -too few playgrounds -no facilities for children aged 8 and over and olderAbsolute greed for profit on the part of the operators!!!Unfortunately, when the campsite is at full capacity, there is a lot of noise pollution at night, including from numerous youth groups, who also engaged in vandalism during our stay.
Despite numerous complaints to reception, nothing was done. On the contrary, a receptionist told me that the problems... with the youth groups were well known.
Furthermore, Wi-Fi was advertised on the entire site for a fee. Unfortunately, we had none during our three-week stay, as the radio mast was defective.
Day guests have access to the entire campsite. Unfortunately, it was very crowded on warm days, so that the bathers sat very close, if not even in the awning.
Because the day guests queue in front of the door at the entrance, the actual vacation guests were denied access to the campsite without having to wait and queue.
Two other exits / gates on the site are only for dog owners, for whatever reason!
All in all, this FAMILY CAMPING PITCH does not deserve 5 stars due to the points mentioned above.

Stellplätze sind teilweise zu klein geworden bzw werden sie Gäste nicht ordentlich eingewiesenHat leider sehr nachgelassenLeider hat der Platz sehr nachgelassen. Unser Stellplatz war top und in unmittelbarer Nähe des Wassers aber: kein heißes Wasser zum Spülen oder duschen und das über 3 Wochen; Trotz ausgebuchten Platz viel zu viel Aufnahme von Tagesgästen (hier steht ganz klar der Profit im Vordergrund nicht die Urlaubsgäste);... die Kinder werden bei der Animation aufgefordert spenden da zu lassen wegen irgendwelcher Lizenzen; kein WLAN da Mast defekt, wurde binnen 3 Wochen auch nicht instand gesetzt; durch die Überfüllung des Platzes durch Urlaubs und Tagesgästen wurde das Personal dem Dreck im Waschhaus nicht mehr her; das Personal mit den Golfcars fährt nicht nur mit total überhöhter Geschwindigkeit über den Platz sondern ist auch noch super unfreundlich. Bei Beschwerden wird man entweder gebeten sich am nächsten Tag zu melden oder man bekommt eine Aussage wie 'na was soll ich denn da jetzt machen ' es bekommt auch jeder bei einer Beschwerde eine andere Aussage, bedeutet für mich ganz klar das jeder eine andere lüge aufgetischt bekommt; trotz alledem: meine Kinder hatten einen super schönen Urlaub gerade mit unserem super Stellplatz und das ist für mich als Mutter das wichtigste, aber das drumherum hat total abgebaut.
