Another shower house for men and women a bit older. I really liked the changing mat in the baths. There is also a beer garden and restaurant,... but we didn't eat there. We had a good view of the playground from our pitch, so we could also see our son. There are 2 large meadows as pitches with electricity. There are also taps for fetching water. Datteln is easy to reach by bike. Cycle paths are also in the immediate vicinity. It was quiet at night, with campers only leaving at 6am. There is no barrier, so you can apparently drive in whenever you want.
Otherwise, the groundsman was very friendly, we were able to welcome friends without any problems and at no extra charge, and everything was very relaxed when we left. The surroundings are very beautiful and natural. In the morning and evening you could watch deer in the field and there were many beautiful cycling and hiking trails around us. Especially as you only have water at the washbasins in the family sanitary facilities if you pay €2. - The main road under construction will pass directly by the campsite in 2 years at the latest. Although a noise barrier has been erected, this could spoil the idyll and tranquillity somewhat - The tourist pitches have no plots or divisions. We would prefer an approximate allocation with numbered pitches and defined sizes. Large lawns with free choice of pitches. The playground is fine and the animals, donkeys and goats, are an attraction for children, you can stroke them.
We ordered fries, currywurst and meatballs in the restaurant, which was very tasty and reasonably priced.
Bread roll... service was also recommended.
Negative to mention are the 2€ for 6 min shower, even for hot water in the dishwashing house are min 40 cents due.
Electricity costs 5€ per day.

The baked ones are not so great .Whitsun 2018 with a large groupWe were at the Klaukenhof at Whitsun and had the meadow at the back of the beer garden to ourselves. Tents, caravans, camper vans and a beer island were all welcomed in a friendly manner. The operator came to us several times, asked if everything was OK and we were allowed to use the brand new family bathrooms. Conclusion: we had a relaxed, beautiful Whitsun at the Klaukenhof and will gladly come back next year !!!Automatski prevedeno.

There is a lot to see, you can start beautiful tours from the campsite and end the day with a walk along the Alte Fahrt in the evening. We had a very good impression of the campsite. The pitch for our caravan was very nice, the sanitary facilities clean and well maintained, the manager and staff very friendly.
