Unfortunately the welcome was a bit unfriendly. Nowhere in our booking confirmation or on the campsite website could we find any indication of when we had to arrive. In any... case, it was clearly too late to arrive after 19:00.
Apart from the welcome, the pitch was very nice. The bottom of the pitches were very nice grass or gravel. We were able to choose the pitch ourselves and only had to let them know briefly what we had chosen.
The sanitary facilities were very clean and absolutely sufficient for the pitch (no waiting times at any time). Keep an eye on the cleaning times when planning visits to the showers. There is only one wash house and it is closed for a while.
There are no stores or restaurants on the site or in the immediate vicinity. The Coop in Brora is open until 22:00, but there is only a limited selection of places to eat, some of which close quite early.
A visit to the neighboring Dunvegan Castle is highly recommended. There are also very interesting demonstrations with birds of prey.Automatikusan lefordítva.- Andreas W.augusztus 2017PozitívumokPeace and quiet, close to the beachOnly separated from the sandy beach by a golf course!We were traveling with our 11-year-old daughter in August 2017. We received a very friendly welcome at the site (we reserved a pitch by phone the evening before and the operator spoke some German). We were allowed to choose the gravel pitch, so we pitched and set up according to the wind direction. The... sanitary facilities were older, but clean. The site is just outside Brora, where you can eat in the hotel or go shopping in two stores (a corner store and a supermarket). At the edge of the site there is a running track for dog owners to walk their dogs, behind which is the golf course. This leads to a wide sandy beach. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't really suitable for swimming. But that didn't detract from our stay here.Automatikusan lefordítva.
