Ants!Just as you would wish for camping :)We spent two nights on site with our tent and were given a warm and friendly welcome.
We were then allocated a really nice spot, which we had to share with some ants (leave a mosquito net on the tent and check your shoes in the morning, done!)
We had a direct view of the water from the tent entrance... - really beautiful.
The only thing was that the path to the toilet block was a bit longer and the cable drum didn't reach the power box, which was a bit further away.
However, if you have forgotten something (like in our case a CEE plug ... ) and ask nicely, then you may be able to borrow something from the site owner.
The sanitary facilities themselves are getting on in years but are clean and worked perfectly.

Excursions to Güstrow, Seefeld, Waren, Röbel, Wismar, Warnemünde and Schwerin are all worthwhile. In the evenings, at least in September, you should listen to the gathering of the cranes and the evening roaring of the deer. Toni A.June 2020PozitívumokLocation, location, location - right on the lake, quiet and great surroundingsNegatívumokOutdated infrastructure, renovation backlogGreat location - infrastructure is getting on in yearsAdmittedly: Early summer 2020 is not a normal year, as there was and still is talk of corona restrictions everywhere.
We had booked a "nice pitch" well in advance (and with a confirmation) and were allocated one of the last pitches. Okay for two or three nights, but not really a nice place.
Overall,... it was almost full despite the 60% maximum occupancy rule, which then led to a fatal traffic jam in the sanitary area because it was only 50% open. That's c***e in the truest sense of the word!
Especially as the entire sanitary infrastructure still breathes the old "GDR times"; the operators should urgently invest money here - for more quantity, quality and sustainability. We really didn't like it - so we won't be back.
Of course, the campsite also has its good side, because the Dobbertiner See is great - despite a short walk, you can get to the shore quickly and swim, paddle - or try to walk across the water like Jesus ;-)
In the surrounding area, you can also go hiking or cycling or enjoy a bit of culture. There are no shopping facilities in Dobbertin (but there is a pub and a very good café); the nearest large supermarket is in Goldberg (approx. 5 km).Automatikusan lefordítva.

Nearby there is a canoe rental, a shop, an ice cream parlor with delicious ice cream, the monastery Dobbertin with restaurant (food very tasty). There are several small bathing spots. Bread rolls and newspapers are available on site. Everything else in the small supermarket in the nearby town. Beautifully situated by the lake under tall trees, it was always pleasant in the heat. There is no excessive luxury, but everything is always clean and tidy. You can relax wonderfully in the peace and quiet. The Linke family has an open ear for all campers, always a funny saying and good tips. The site is right on the lake with a bathing area and jetty. Unparceled, with tall trees and lots of space. Sanitary always very clean, operators very friendly and always helpful. The highlight for the children are... the large Kettcars, which are available free of charge. Good shopping facilities in the village about 500m away, as well as places to stop for refreshments.
