"Camping for the long term - It's nice to have a campsite here that offers working people a place where permanent camping is possible. Nice neighbors and helping each other round off the atmosphere. No hotel can offer that.

"The paradise of horror - We travel a lot with our motorhome, get around a lot and think that we should express an opinion here. This campsite in no way deserves the name "camping paradise". Disorder and a lack of hygiene are the order of the day. It looks like the cleaning lady/cleaner died years ago or can no longer find her way here. The whole shower house is very run-down and very dirty. Hot water is also hard to come by, if you turn the hot water tap on completely, lukewarm water splashes around. Luckily we have an outside shower on the motorhome which we used. Otherwise you pay electricity for all showers here......Money rip-off. The whole place is very outdated and therefore looks very unkempt. The restaurant has also closed down and you can't get fresh bread rolls for breakfast here either. What a pity!

"Reviews - Many competitors now use the services of many service providers who can delete negative reviews for a fee. I have also been offered good reviews for a fee. I don't see the point in paying for this and it's not fair to you as a guest. When it comes to reviews, you should consider how they are written. The many satisfied guests don't complain and don't feel prompted to write a positive review. But if I have stepped on someone's toes, it works much better that way.

"Good place for transit - We stayed at the campsite for one night while passing through. Due to its proximity to the highway, it is ideally located for this. The sanitary building is completely new, but unfortunately totally unkempt. Cleaning only takes place very rarely, if at all. Hot water for the shower is charged on a chip, three minutes are included in the booking; we still only had cold water. The whole place does not make a very well-kept impression. There were a lot of dogs on the site during our stay. They were probably competing to see who could bark the loudest and longest. Unfortunately, the dog owners (permanent campers and travelers) did not have their dogs under control, but this is not the responsibility of the campsite operator. The best he could do to counteract this would be to ban dogs.

"The place is good, but the staff are not hospitable - Neutral, but worth mentioning: - the proximity to the highway (not disturbing during the day, but too loud at night for some) - rationed hot water for washing up, but it was enough for us; could have been left as it is - Waste separation is important, but checking immediately after throwing it away is a bit borderline - The "older" toilets seem a bit outdated, the newer communal toilets with showers appear modern at first glance, with USB charging facilities etc., but have been treated carelessly. There are cables and pipes everywhere. The joints are very unclean, especially in the lower door area. Also, some people don't like sitting next to a urinal. But there are also cabins without urinals. - We did not test the bread roll service - We did not test the restaurant Thank goodness the door was closed at departure time, so we were able to throw the transponders in the box provided and leave without further contact. And I've already read a few responses from the operators saying that they think it's a shame that you don't try to talk to them straight away. But you don't want to do that when you meet someone like that.

"Unkempt, dirty, totally outdated - We cannot recommend this place due to the poor cleanliness and lack of hygiene. WLAN yes, but no or hardly any internet. Everything was amateurishly tinkered with. Prices for this offer are overpriced - probably taking advantage of the moment - because hardly anyone who has been there comes back!

Profil

Grüner Jäger is a simple, friendly campsite in the middle of the North German countryside. It is more than just a place to spend the night on your travels, and you won't be bored here even if you are staying …for a longer period. Right next to the campsite is the Everinghausen nature reserve, where you can go for a bike ride or a swim, among other things. Bremen is also worth a day trip. The campsite is a bit out of the way in a rural area, but it is still easy to reach thanks to the nearby A1 motorway. You can choose any of the well-arranged, spacious pitches on grass. Some are without shade and others have just more shade. The places are all different, but clearly defined. Since the campsite is easily accessible via the A1, mainly Northern Europeans come here. For people in transit, it is convenient that you can stay in a trailer caravan. The campsite is child-friendly, with a nice playground and a meadow for animals. You can also fish in the nearby river. In front of the restaurant you will find the swimming pool with a children's pool and a sunbathing area. You can get the most important things in the camping shop. They also sell fresh bread every day. You can do your other shopping in the village, which is about 5 km away. The heated sanitary facilities are modern and well maintained. They offer you a high level of comfort, including individual washing cubicles, family sanitary facilities and barrier-free sanitary facilities. There is also a sauna. The restaurant has a wide selection of simple dishes of good quality. There is also a terrace. You can also take your meals with you.
