It's not so easy to open and close, you always need both hands. Rather a makeshift solution! The pitch condition: (the rear pitches) coarse gravel on the pitch and seating area. Rather unfavorable as you can hardly walk over it. Our awning carpet now has holes in it. It wouldn't hurt to cut the lawn and hedge occasionally. I don't need an English lawn, but I don't need brambles or nettles either. Of our 8 toilet cubicles, three or four could not be locked or were defective. This has not changed after a week. The country road runs about 25 m past the pitch. Sales in all you have to be very forgiving....but unfortunately it's too expensive for that. Certainly great for more dog owners. The beach is about 2.5 km away, which you have to share with cyclists.Unfortunately not for us ...Nice operators and certainly great for multi-dog owners. Pitches 1 to 10 are preferable as they have a gate and the fences are in better condition. The sanitary building also seemed better to me than the ones at the back. The fenced plots are a dream for dog owners, and the agility course rounds off the whole thing. The individual washing cubicles are a great thing if the electric locking mechanism works, which it doesn't always do... in the rear wash house.
The staff from reception to the cleaning service are super friendly. The paid WLAN works great.
Unfortunately there is no footpath away from the pitch, you have to walk along the unpaved roadside. Unfortunately, the bread delivery service proved to be unreliable in our case, although the quality of the baked goods cannot be criticized. For children, the site is only recommended if you have a small child, as it is really nice, but in the middle of nowhere. You really can't get anywhere here without a vehicle.

When you arrive for the first time, you like to drive past itA great vacationVery nice operators, they have an open ear for all questions and wishes, the children can play freely on the playground, the dogs are also welcome and not just tolerated, so there is not only 1 four-legged friend on almost every plot, so there are always loud greetings.
The site is definitely less suitable... for people who don't want the noise of dogs and children. But it was always quiet after 10pm. The sanitary facilities are clean, they are in wagons and you have a washbasin, toilet and shower in the cabin, which I found very pleasant.
The campsite is left in its natural state and there are wild weeds everywhere instead of golf turf. As it is a fairly small site, you quickly get to know other campers and there is always someone nice to chat to. Everything is kept very informal.
With some telephone providers you have heavenly peace because you have no reception 😅.
The sea with delicious fish sandwiches and drinks stand and benches for eating is about 2 km away. It is 1.6 km along the road (footpath/cycle path) to the dyke crossing. It herrst outward everywhere leash obligation which has not disturbed us however.

With only one dog, we were already in the minority.
The wash containers are all equipped with a shower, toilet and wash hand basin. We would have liked height-adjustable shower heads, as it was a bit uncomfortable to get into... the right position underneath to reach all parts of the body. Unfortunately, only shaver sockets are installed, so there is no possibility to connect a hairdryer. This is ok for the summer, but it may be necessary to retrofit either fixed hairdryers or normal sockets so that you don't have to walk to your pitch with wet hair after showering in cool weather.
As on every campsite, the cleanliness is heavily dependent on the users, this applies both to the sanitary facilities and to the pitch itself. We arrived early and were allowed to pitch our tent ahead of time.
We did this right next to the playground, much to the delight of our two children and dog.
The sanitary facilities were very clean and smart.
The dog meadow is currently only accessible via the main... road, but this will certainly be changed.
Our boxer had a lot of fun on the two separate dog meadows.

Completely in vain, as it soon turned out. We had booked a fenced-in pitch. Our woof felt at home right from the start and we also found the family atmosphere on the site very pleasant. Children and dogs are really... welcome here. We got to know nice people and look forward to seeing them again.
There is a bread roll service on site. There is also a washing machine and you can buy a few things in the reception area. Shopping facilities are available in the surrounding villages (5km etc.). On the dike in Sehstedt which is 15min walk away there is also a fish snack.
If you want to be in the water with your dog, you have to go to the surrounding dog beaches. Even if some Google reviews are rather negative, I cannot confirm this. Our dog had fun even on the smallest beach. I also don't think the compulsory leash is a bad thing, but again, everyone has their own opinion.
I can only tell you that it's worth a visit and we'll definitely be back. We camped at the playground, which was perfect for the children. After less than half an hour the kids had found each other.
The shower trailer was well maintained, washing machine, dryer, kitchen all there.
We enjoyed it so much that we want to come back this fall and next summer.

The best thing about this small campsite is the relaxed atmosphere with few rules. You can tell that the owners put their heart and soul into their work and do everything they can to ensure their guests have a pleasant... stay. If you prefer "perfection", this is not the place for you. Everything is clean, tidy and well run, but not to the point of soulless sterility. For example, you can borrow a screwdriver, store your bikes or make other requests without any complications.
The site is child- and dog-friendly, and it's fun to experience the people, children and animals together in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a playground for children as well as a large dog meadow and an agility area, so there is plenty to do. And there are fenced-in pitches - also not unimportant for people with dogs. There is seating, tables and benches everywhere.
